Dyslexics don't see or interpret things how we do though. My daughter spells a lot phonetically - what may seem obvious, and could be written down in front of her, she'd still spell it differently. It's like her own language at times. Thankfully most dyslexics are business mavericks - Richard Branson. So when she's a multi billionaire- she can help keep her old man in the manor to which he's become accustomed <cheers>

Before the boo boys targeted Mally Lord, Paddy was their victim.

    Frig me.

You already live in a manor yet still want her to look after you?

I'm with you completely, but even phonetically, by and bee are different.

Ash was class, but underrated? He proved everyone wrong when he wasn't playing, a bit like Jakupovic was slated, now it has to be him.
Richard Garcia was a good player, although not really missed when he left.
I'd have to say Greg Abbot or Rob Dewhurst. Even Warren Joyce when he played for us.
I suppose players who were good in a **** team wouldn't really be underrated. I'm thinking Graham Atkinson, Linton Brown or Andy Payton.
Richard Peacock as well, he did well coming from non league.

Forgot about Gordon Nisbet. Good solid full back. Virtually gave him away to Plymouth.

Don't recall Paddy getting the bird, though now you mention it something tells me your right..

City fans have always had a hate figure to lambast..I recall Billy Wilkie getting some stick in the season we nearly got to the 1st div, under Terry Neill.
Anyone remember Dave Roberts...He would be worth £ms today..

Ashbee probably gets it if we're talking about the media.

There were loads of others, though. Julian Johnsson I thought was excellent at that level. Jason Price never seemed to get the recognition he deserved either.

Looking back at former players turns up some interesting facts..........
Who was our scout when we signed Lawrie Dudfield????
We paid £250K for him, however prior to this he had only scored five professional goals.
Turned out to be a good larker, and a decent bloke though.

Sorry to hear that mate. I don't know if there is such a condition, but I always struggled with mathematics. Nothing else just maths. How I ended up being in precision engineering is anybody's guess.

A couple of my mates are dyslexic, have had high paying manufacturing jobs for years.
Could probably build a house from the foundations to the roof, wiring, plumbing etc without breaking sweat.
I don't have dyslexia but am ****ing uselsess at everything DIY, took me about an hour to work out how to get the battery out the smoke alarm in new house.
It would be boring if everyone was the same, all the very best and embrace and celebrate everyones differences

On the basis that Ash is far more appreciated than many others to many, two for me are Ryan France for longevity and ability to play in a number of positions equally well, i.e. not just fill in, and Schteeve McLaren - one of the more gifted players I've seen in a City shirt but acknowledged far more widely since as a manager.

Les Mutrie scored 14 goals for City in nine games in early 82, and was virtually unknown outside of Hull and overshadowed by 'colourful' Billy Whitehurst.

Stats say 49 goals in 114 league games and in his late 20s when he joined us. Arguably the best forward we've ever had at holding the ball up, he rarely gets a mention by people who never saw him play.
Abel Hernandez, Diomande & co can only dream of possessing that skill.

My mate's dyslexic. He said that when he heard that scientists had developed a cure for dyslexia, it was music to his arse.

Loved watching Les Mutrie , great feet, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Sir Justin Whittle a no nonsense center back and Gary Brabin the pair of them saved us from non league football
