I know the two things are not directly related but the QPR twitter feed has 341 thousand followers. 35k seater sounds good to me.
Probably not relevant as the stadium would not likely be built on wormwood scrubs but on the existing land off it. Also I'm sure there would be ways round that if necessary, i.e. 'Community' stadium.
No one enjoys Wormwood Scrubs. Not on topic but my dad was in there for a short time about 20 years ago. He could hear the crowd from his cell the night we beat Boro 5-0.

We need a stadium that has other facilities as well. See the MK Dons set up. Good parking nearby, restaurants and bars too. Problem is, why would any external institutions such as the owners of Wetherspoons, Cafe Rouge, Chicago, Frankie and Bennys etc want to invest in the shytehole that is the Scrubs? Added to that, the only trade would be in match days. Non starter unless other infrastucture changes are made.
The fly in the ointment is transport links. Loftus Road is among the best connected grounds in London and Old Oak was set to be even better. The Scrubs site is between the two and despite the dozens of rail lines nearby there are no actual stations. Much as there aren't many of us at home games these days I can't see us all fitting on the 220 bus (much beloved by Adel of course). There was talk of new stations on the Overground as part of a diversion loop for the Old Oak development but until that happens many years hence there would be a significant problem.
Old Oak had thousands of new homes hence hopefully new fans too. It would have been buzzing with energy and opportunity. A hub of homes, businesses and leisure facilities. This feels like plan B, or maybe even C, to me.
TBH RTID Those homes will probably be bought by people who wouldn't go to football. However, I do see your point.
