Harsh. He may struggle with spelling. My daughter has just been diagnosed with dyslexia (no jokes please) and she really struggles with written work and reading. She's as bright as a button though. Just conventional learning isn't going to work for her. Just a thought, before you jump down everyone's throat.

    Underrated by who?
If it's by City fans then Ashbee is highly rated.
If it's by national media then it definitely is him

A player who never seemed to have to rush to do anything on the pitch. Maybe that's a good shout seeing as he is in the photo on my Avatar.

Yeah I agree....Though he seemed to get a lot of splinters in his 'arris from sitting on the bench...

That would be a fair assumtption if 'y' looked anything like 'ee' or if it wasn't a common name on this board and in our club's history or even if it wasn't on the back of his shirt every match...

For the record, my bro has dyslexia too.

I don't think it makes much difference that y doesn't look like ee in terms of how dyslexia works. Anyhoo I'm no expert.

Tough one. Always liked neil mann at the time but he was in an awful squad and it was a different level to where we are now. Roy Carroll was good before we flogged him to Wigan. But probably go with ash or rosie.

Ah, Phil Holme. I seem to recall an incident when the opposition keeper was getting ready to punt upfield as Holme closed him down. Between the keeper releasing the ball from hand and kicking it, Holme made a stooping header and the ball rolled into the net. It was disallowed.

As a kid I really liked Andy Saville, but always seemed to be benched or left out.

Local lad too, could have done really well for us in the 90s.

Surely most underrated player means someone who fans took for granted but who played mostly week in week out?
Gordon Nisbet for one. Tough no nonsense rb.
Elmo falls into this category too. Ever present and hardly used to get a motm vote in here for years.
Meyler too. Stats over the last two seasons show how well we've done when he plays.
