Good point.
It should clear up all the nonsense that Jordan Henderson cost £20 million. According to Damien Comolli, reports that he did cost £20 million were ''way off the mark''.

Charlie Adam was around £7m + add ons.

Doni was cheap

Enrique is good business for the reported £6m.

CB I feel might be someone out from nowhere. I think Dann is for sure in the running as is Cahill but wondering if there is a foreign prospect in there somewhere..... Mertesacker is one who has not been linked to us but has stated he wants to move to prem....hmmmmm.

 

Per Mertsacker would be perfect..at the right price.

 

I think so, he offers that towering presence as well. Could be one that sneaks in, hamann puts a cheeky word in and viola.

 

He's quite young too, he could if we signed him be our new Sami.

If we got Per Mertersacker I think it would be perfect spending since FSG arrived.

16 does make it sound more realistic now. I must admit 20 is too much in my book.

There is more than likely add-ons.
However whether they are paid or not is another thing. There is a chance that Roma may never get the £4-£5 million in add-ons for Alberto Aquilani, and its unlikely Liverpool will get the £3 million out of the £19 milliion Spurs owe them in add-ons for Robbie Keane.
