I got to drink with Mickey Finn in Norwood on numerous occasions from 1993 until his death 10 years later. He lived just down the road. A sweet but terribly lost soul. He knew of my love for The Damned and always reminded me of it before tapping me and my mates for a few bob. One of my mates from that time was reputed to have the longest pockets in the world, even he must have lent Mickey enough money to buy a half decent car.
