The probability that Manchester United will win is not 1 so there is always a chance for us. We football fans live on hope, it is what gives us our adrenalin rush and why losing is such a downer and winning is such joy. I am travelling to the final full of optimism.
This. I don't understand how you can attend this sort of game with no hope of a result at all. Just going for the 'day out' is bollocks imo. I'm travelling to Wembley to watch us win the ****ing thing and see us bag the first major trophy of my lifetime. Wembley isn't a fun place for losers.
No, but I'm not going to enjoy the match if we go there and get dicked 3/4-0. I imagine I would feel pretty miserable and it will be a long journey home. I just think this whole 'only going for the day out' is the wrong attitude and makes us look incredibly small time. We should be going there to win. Luckily, we are going to win anyway
He def has the talent, and he does put a shift in in covering the FB, would he get a free role under Puel ? I can see him in a more central role playing his trickery against slower CBs , has a decent shot on him and a good eye for a pass
Who cares how we look? We know we can win but I will love it and give my full support whether we win or lose. We obviously will be going there to win I don't know where you've got the idea we won't be. We may play more defensively but that had great success against Liverpool.
Well obviously I will be giving my full support etc. Kinda goes without saying that one. I'm not talking about the team, it's quite a few fans who seem to be saying 'not really bothered if we win or lose, just going for the day out' that I find frustrating. We're not a non league side in a cup tie at Old Trafford. Should add that I'm not strictly talking about on here.
I just read it like a DT tweet. And I happen to know the report button doesn't do anything. So there.
Last time I had an input into these things, the reports got a read-through and then usually no action was taken. However, if it was say... reporting a post by a previously banned poster, posting as a new member [like Trixter the other day] that would get the wheels in motion. Forum gears would grind and Mr New Poster would very quickly resume his previous non-active status. So the report button certainly works as an alert. As regards Q, he's been a mod, and there's no harm in him beyond a wickedly dry sense of humour. Although if I'd been accused of a post resembling something from Donald Trump I'd be a bit taken aback too.
Okay... now I'm not sure if people realise I was only having a laugh with Qwerty I didn't actually report the post
