Hold on...trend? Over how long...take out best season from a manager with six years leaves five...one from three? Etc etc. This is a prime example of shift stats on paper alone because it suits... Better idea (still subjective but not trying to pass it off as science ...take out best year of each manager and worst year. Cont up the trophies in the other years and thats how good the manager was....
You're taking out 13-14 because you're giving all the credit to Suarez. Yet you're also failing to realise Suarez was part of the 12-13 season too. Something changed and it wasn't personnel!
I recall a few Mancs being convinced they'd get Klopp at the time. I also recall them laughing at me when I said they had no chance of getting him too
I can't believe how you lot leave context out of all of this Rafa had less competition if anything from clubs in the prem but he had cl to play as well Rodgers had a lot better prem sides to play but lesser europa bar one year. In short totally different prem eras but you want a pissing contest on it....
I see it like this Houllier - win things and got us in the cl - verdict; good Rafa - won things - good Roy - won **** all - **** Rodgers - won **** all - gave us one of the best seasons we've had in the pl if not the best - still **** Klopp - won **** all - to be continued The pattern is winning trophies.
Pattern is ended in tears trying to win a league Klopp says he wants to be judged when he leaves. .... I say **** off trying to play the wums games and let him get on with it.
Jurgen Klopp might have moved on to pastures new, but it has not stopped his former Borussia Dortmund players from cheering on their old boss. In an interview broadcast on BBC Radio 5 live’s European Football Show on Monday, Dortmund skipper Mats Hummels said he hopes Klopp can bring as much success to Liverpool as he did to the German side. “Everyone on our team who played under him is trying to watch Liverpool games and is feeling with them because everyone had a special connection with him,” says the Germany defender. “He should know and I think he does know that we have our fingers crossed for him.”

trust in Kloppy FFS!! Still you have better chance for 4th than Spuds. Getting 4th in this season's league is more difficult than titles in the past seasons especially last season
Klopp ain't the problem. We are just ****. I mean, he did take over a mid table team and only bought 2 players that have slightly improved 2 positions (Matip and Mane) and a virtual zero net spend. He did incredibly well to challenge for 1st place and we are doing very well at the moment in the league table considering.
This is a long term rebuild. We're ahead of scheduled and have progressed well. No doubts about Klopp.
There can't be any true fans out there who doubt Klopp already? Despite recent results I'm a happy man and hope he's our manager for a decade or more.
It doesn't matter how well respected you are as a manager or what you've achieved at a particular club, it's a results business and ultimately it's as fickle as **** The events at Chelsea last season and the pressure on Ranieri at the minute shows that. I've seen some of your fans taking out their frustrations on John henry in the last week, that denotes they're unhappy and looking for a scapegoat for your current poor form. Klopp has largely escaped any ire from Reds as yet, but he needs a result and quick otherwise the pressure will mount on him, as the current run is truly pish, especially in comparison to your earlier season form, which had raised the level of expectation.
You're right about the level of expectation, because we were right up there we started to believe we had a chance of winning it, we were also playing like we could (maybe not at the back though) I think the expectation has now cooled and we're praying we grab at least fourth. The big test then comes in the Summer, fans want to see money spent and quality brought in, the owners will have a chance to show their true intentions then.
