It should be an interesting reaction from the other committee members of the Jersey Softball Association when they see that I agree with the authority that issues Grants to Sports Associations about our underspend from last year, and not with our President. The fact that there's a difference of opinion of over £1200 on a £4k grant makes me wonder what the hell she was doing when she was Treasurer.
Wrong person Andy. Mme still has her UK dentist that has been a private practice for years now. She pays into Denplan and her total for the year is a lot less than theo's visit today. It still doesn't help those who are hard up. When my son was at Uni. he had all his treatment free at the hands of the dental students.

Morning all Spoke to the new owner of our dental practice yesterday evening. She already owns two others elsewhere in the county of course. She appears to think she is investing in new equipment to provide a higher quality service for the three communities in which she is now based. I pointed out that it would be a higher quality service for those who could afford it and the hike in charges would undoubtedly exclude many. She turned down my proposal that she do the fillings at a cost commensurate which what the practice previously charged and suggested I try to register with an NHS dentist in Winchester, an hour's journey each way plus parking issues etc. I wished her a hugely profitable future and requested that my dental records and x-ray details be posted immediately to me.
Morning all, rather overcast this morning, but the sun is promised for later. Already plenty of locals have their salad crops growing under a selection of protective covers. I really must try and get out and do things rather than wait until I can feel the sun on my back.
At work today, I went into the company's intranet to get to the time recording program and I saw someone in one of our Italian offices refer to some training in "Sala Hornet", which does translate as Hornet Room. I later managed to find out that it is in one of our offices in Milan, which is the closest to Udine, as the other city in Italy that the company has an office in is Turin, which is more than 70 miles further away.
