Are you coming down? The away crowd is going to be more northern than the home lot.

4-1 and Gabby to get a hat trick. Come on. Some positivity here. This is Sunderland. We all remember when all we had to do was beat Forest and Doncaster to stay up in the Championship. Doddle. OK, we lost both and got relegated, but I was confident

    We're doomed!

In a game where our opponent forces a high tempo and it's all about fast transitions (see Bournemouth game, first 3 halves of Liverpool semi's) Davis is excellent, otherwise in our current system his impact is usually negligible unfortunately. And if there's one thing I know about all-but-one of our games against Sunderland in recent years, boy are they high tempo attacking thrillers...!

He's still our best central midfielder attacking wise. What does that tell you about the others <laugh>

Yeah I am, think I'll get a train in. I've been hanging round far flung bits of Scotland this week, Sunderland top tier will be basically tropical.

Im expecting Saints to score first then sit back and let Sunderland score a couple. I know we put 8 passed them once but we cant even beat them at home on a regular basis. They are better now than their league position indicates. Any draw would be ok. I thought the Hull game would be an easy win, but it was very disappointing. Whatever, I will be up in the gods hoping for a good result.

I predict 3-1 to the black Cats and that is being positive. Any optimism or hope that I had that we could turn this season around has long vanished. We are in the ****.

Oh dear. Never mind. One of our best players, but people only see what they want to see. That's more about understanding football than the players ability.

I was going to genuinely post a similar prediction but with a clean sheet. 4-0 to Saints, Gabiadini hat trick and Yoshida with the goals.

I've always been a fan of Davis and right now he adds a bit of a mature head/stability whatever it is. However, I don't think he's had that much influence recently. The one thing he does is to constantly get himself into possible scoring positions but his finishing is woeful at best.
