This Board will be suicidal..... a win would be a huge boost before we play Champions elect Chelsea.

Your opinion about it not being an absolute must win game is valid - but I would like us to get one over a relegation rival - the sooner we can get to 40pts the sooner we can start to rest easy/easier

We need to get 6 wins - on paper, this "should" be 1 of them. <cheers>

Not a " must " win in my books , but it would be a crucial one if we do . Imagine taking 3 points from this game and having won 4 out of 6 games with Clement having 2 weeks to " Gel " the team a bit more before a 2 month favorable schedule with confidence at an all time high .
Also , with 2 assists in 180 minutes , Narsingh should start this game and most games after IMO .

You can lose to the teams at the top but,not at the bottom.

Plenty of valid points above and as always it depends where you are viewing this match from.

Of course it's a golden opportunity to get three points from a team who are currently struggling in the league and find themselves in a position where the vast majority of us wouldn't have foreseen at the start of the season.

I was more concerned with the away match at Crystal Palace a few weeks back when a Palace win would have seen them move 7 points ahead of us and we would have been hanging through the relegation trap door. Even that I considered a "must not lose match" rather than a must win match, to ensure we stayed in contention with our relegation contenders. We won so it was happy days.

I'm far more relaxed about this fixture. As far as I'm concerned anything we get from this game is a bonus as personally I think Leicester will eventually show their class and have enough in their tank to pull away from the bottom of the league.

I've predicted a 2-1 win for the Swans but if offered a point now I'd take it.

I'm hoping that we don't have any "must win" games where we need 6 points to stay up with only two games remaining <laugh>

6 points taken from Palace over a very bad period in our Premier League history could turn out to be the most crucial " Home and Away " games in our history . I can't see Leicester being in the relegation battle with a half dozen games left . IMO , Law of Average says they will go on a roll soon , hopefully after their next game though

If we Draw then it will be another opportunity missed and another 2 points dropped that we are desperate for and makes our survival worse. imo

The way I'm looking at it from now to the end of the season is that a win is only a win if it means we maintain or improve our position and a loss is only a loss if we drop a place. This makes things pretty surreal when a loss could still have the effect of a win if those around us lose too and we maintain our position o_O

Position is everything so all this means is that to stay up week need to concentrate on being better than those who could directly effect our position, Sunderland, Palace, Hull, Leicester, Middlesbrough and Bournemouth. Win lose or draw is as irrelevant as the rest of the league, what's important is how we do in relation to those teams.

To me , it's only Hull , Sunderland and Palace with an outside chance at Boro .

Agree Roof, I think Sunderland Palace and Hull for the drop too but I want to finish above Leicester, Middlesbrough and Bournemouth because they are the clubs directly ahead of us. We must strive to better them and put a buffer zone between us and a relegation battle.

What makes you think they will go on a roll when you look at their results roof. They have yet to score a goal this year and look poor....they have not dropped down the league for nothing that has resulted in them being on the same points as us but because of our GD a draw would keep them above us. We must win so we can go above them and make things slightly better for us because if we finish on the same points as anyone in the bottom 3 then we will go down because of goal difference and that will be worse than a natural relegation......Win lose or draw wont decide anything this week end but a win will put us above one of our main rivals and just that little bit safer....

The big one for me is our next game against Hull . They've played a lot of tough teams the 2nd half already ( like us ) and could be a very telling game on who's who in the relegation battle . Boro haven't played anyone tough the 2nd half so they are the " Auxilary " relegation rival at the moment IMO .

I've backed you, Palace and Sunderland to go down, so you're as safe as houses. <ok>

Far from safe but we do have the better form going into the business end of the season than our rivals and we must keep that going..

2-1 with Mawson with another glancing header plus a Llorento goal.

A draw wouldn't be the end of the world although it would depend on what the teams below us do.

The depressing thing about our situation is that whether we stay up or go down, I'm resigned to the fact that next season we'll be without Sigurdsson and Llorente.

I want the win and a nice cushion above the drop zone so we can go to Chelsea and not think it is a must win game, just enjoy it. We will perform there as there will be no expectation on the players.

I would rather stay up than worry over whether we keep certain players. If we go down there will be a bigger exodus.

How do we want Leicester's FA Cup game to go ? Would a win boost them or give them false hope? Would a loss give the more drive? I am hoping for a bruising encounter going to extra time! May be some cards!

Hoping for a 0-0, extra time, then Leicester to lose on penalties. That should knock the stuffing out of them.

EDIT: Leicester to lose 3-0 on penalties with Mahrez, Vardy and Ogazaki all missing. **** them.
