My girlfriend's dad had a new one in Dark Green in London back in 1965. Wouldn't let me drive it but I loved the hydraulic suspension!
That car was like a quantum leap forward when you compare it to other cars of the time. Was bloody expensive for the time though. Used to have a GS Pallas with the same suspension. Best riding car I have ever had. But ruinously expensive when anything went wrong and you could almost see the rust spreading if it got scratched. If my 6 numbers ever came up one of those would be on the drive alongside a Jensen Interceptor, just to look at as much as to drive. A window cleaner in Hull had an immaculate deep red DS years ago with an attachment on the roof for his ladders. Bet I would be worth a few bob now if in the same condition.
Games back there will be a culture shock to him after the somnolent atmosphere of the KC where one flare would have Inspector Pantsdown and his cohorts spending weeks tracking down the perpetrators. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/2085...-gdansk-and-aria-gdynia-in-horrifying-scenes/
I meant encountering it again after being here a while. Which you knew, or should have, but can't resist the chance to post a reply which you think demonstrates your superior intellect.
Have we signed someone called Citroen, who is a free agent but worth 100k? I am a bit lost. Does anyone know the rules about the 25 man squad?
I had a citroen dispatch van once and all of can say is "what a load of ****e" citroen should have a show room on bempton cliff?
