Yep, if he continued to improve. As you say, people can read the whole post. <ok>

No. You said that he'd get his head down and work hard. Didn't happen.
Then if he improved he'd get a big move. Also didn't happen.
If not, then he'd sign a new contract with West Brom. That didn't happen, either.

There was no "If he does ****, then he'll be sold to Stoke" section.

Yes, if he continued to improve. The quote is there to read. <ok>

There wasn't a Stoke section, but there were several options to choose from about how much Spurs should pay for him after he'd gone on strike and forced a move to your lot <rofl>

That was in reference to getting a big move.
The alternative was signing a new contract. Neither of those happened.

The whole premise was based on 'if he continues to improve' as you've already quoted me saying <ok>

Your start to the very first sentence was wrong.
"Berahino will knuckle down and get on with his job at WBA". Did that happen?

Read the whole sentence, it continues with 'if he continues to improve'

Did he go on strike and force a move to Spurs ?

How are you trying to claim that the "if he continues to improve" part relates to the previous section of the sentence and the later part?
If he continues to improve, then he'll get his head down and get on with his job at West Brom? Give it a rest.

Don't try and answer a question with an irrelevant question, either.
He didn't get his head down, did he? He went off on one, took some drugs and got a ban. Not even close.

Erm, the comma in the sentence kind of explains how the structure of the sentence works.

Stop trying to act like a pedant, whilst at the same time trying to gloss over the massive faux pas which was the whole thrust of the thread,
i.e. Berahino going on strike and forcing a move to Spurs.

Yes, the comma does do that and it indicates that you're bullshitting, I'm afraid.
There's no way to read it in the way you're suggesting. You thought he'd get on with things and he hasn't.

You're wrong. I can't help you understand grammar unfortunately, but the comma links the themes, him knuckling down, if he continues to improve and him getting a big move or a new contract if he met these requirements.

No, you're just wrong. "He'll knuckle down, if he continues to improve" wouldn't even make sense.
The "if he" part was clearly in reference to him getting a big move. Utter nonsense.

Clearly you haven't understood it. I can't help you with that.

Nice job at trying to gloss over the fact that the whole thread was about him going on strike and forcing a move to Spurs though.

Bollocks. I've understood it perfectly, but you just can't admit to being wrong, as usual.

No, you're wrong. You just haven't understood it.

Nice try with the pedantry though, whilst ignoring the the whole theme of the thread <laugh>

The theme of the thread? HIAG reported that a player said he was going on strike, which is what happened.
You then made a series of claims that were all proved wrong with time. Sorry that you can't accept that.

<laugh> He posted a poll about how much Spurs should pay for Berahino because he was going on strike to force a move to Spurs and then proceeded to tell everybody how Levy was going to teach WBA a lesson. He even said that Levy would compensate him for his 'direct action'

The only claim I made was based on him 'continuing to improve' which you've already quoted.

    Good work <rofl>

He said what was happening at the time and asked what Spurs should offer for him.

You then said that he was going to work hard and either get a big move or sign a new contract.
If that was all based upon him improving, then you'd have opened the sentence with it.
You didn't. You started with what he was going to do.

He predicted that Levy would teach WBA a lesson and compensate Berahino for taking direct action.
If you're looking for things that never happened, then it's right there.

As for the rest, your pedantry has led you to misunderstand what I said. Like I said, I can't help you with that.

It's nonsense, Piskie. You went on for pages about Berahino signing a new contract. Didn't happen.
You're now attempting to rewrite history, as you're clearly wrong.
