Not sure who they could realistically bring in to turn it around. A team doesn't suddenly turn to **** overnight though, they've got it in them to do a lot better, even without Kante. They really need Mahrez to find his confidence again and Vardy to find his shooting boots.

Well I prefer it if you stick to being normal Stanley.

    and thanks you are correct.

I don't know who, but I wouldn't have chosen the 2 managers Hull and Swansea appointed either so I'm not sure if it's a case of needing better or just needing something different because as you say, that squad should be doing better.

Which begs the question 'is it the players?'

Vardy certainly looked more interested in strutting around like the big man than playing football yesterday.

Huth and Morgan just looked old and knackered.

  5. Or, to paraphrase, "Last season was a fluke, HIAG was absolutely right, and I was a complete twat to scoff but am too Northern and pig-headed to admit it."

    Thanks, Lightning.

I think it's a combination of a comedown from the high of last season, playing extra games in the CL, the fact that teams have now worked them out, a lack of confidence from their key players and the loss of Kante.

The big question is, can Ranieri pull them out of this hole ? His previous record suggests he should be able to, but at the moment they look rudderless.

It definitely wasn't a fluke. The only people clinging on to that are you and your two children aged 17, 14 and 1.

Which is ironic, as if Leicester hadn't "fluked" the title, Arsenal would have been champions.

When the season started I said all this Hollywood stuff and OK magazine whipped up in love with my wife photos he was doing was just telling me how he has taken his eye off the ball. Obviously I was vilified for my view, but, well 'I told them'

  9. Yes, the do, Pixie. As LCFC have proven, and as I predicted would happen.

The fact that you couldn't see it, and I did, makes me far superior, intellectually, to you.

    No, Pixie, they haven't.

This is what I have been telling you, but you still appear too dense to comprehend the veracity of my assertions.

Unfortunately for you, your scratch-the-surface-knowledge of football prevents you from comprehending that this isn't going to happen.

I am ready to accept your apology, whenever you grow the stones to admit you have been wrong.

    Thanks.

So basically everything apart from walking across a land mine during a pre season trip and losing their legs.

    Wow, what a rant <laugh>

I've just pointed out why Leicester are struggling, but your 'scratch the surface' knowledge of football clearly can't comprehend that.

It's a 'perfect storm' really. Several factors all coming to a head at once and Leicester don't have an answer for it at the moment. As I've said, a team that wins the league doesn't suddenly turn to **** overnight, only a fool would believe that. But Leicester need to find a way to arrest the decline and get back to doing what they do well.

The fact that they were 5000/1 was a fair indication that last season was unexpected brains <doh>

However they won the league on merit not with luck

True that, they did win the league on mer....err, nope, not saying it. I still haven't heard a sincere compliment about Spurs from a Fox, I can just hear the collective anti Spurs butt munching from last season.

    Hope they go down <diva>

  17. The Hollywood guys will love how this is turning out, Bruv! Vardy's story can be a repeat of the Jake LaMotta story, where he ends up as a bum, telling crap jokes at a cheap restaurant, for bar tips, despised and disowned by everyone whom he knew and supposedly loved.

I'd pay good money to watch that.

They won it on merit mate, you know that, regardless of whether the foxes give Spurs any credit. It will crush HIAG to hear you say that, but it's the truth.

I watched the game yesterday, Jesus Christ, They were Crap but we deserve credit for making them look like that in my opinion, whatever happens this season, Leicester were the premier league champions, that's something people will never take away from them.

  20. Yeah, I know that, you market trader! That is why I called it a fluke, both then, and now. But you try telling that to Lightning!

Plus, it's all well and good you giving it large now and acting like it was ****ing obvious, but you never called it, you twat!

Squirm and mock as much as you like, but there is absolutely no getting away from the fact that I - and I alone - called it exactly how it is.

Even the LCFC players are admitting that they don't know what's happened ffs! And you've got the media and bookies talking about Ranieri getting the sack! Collapses do not get any more epic than that, sunshine!

And I ****ing well called it. Accept it, learn from it, and move on.
