True mate, a bit of tactical naivety cost us in the end, we approached the game all wrong and it cost us.
But added so much dross to it. Dross like...... Sterling, Studge, Original, Can.....did he buy Lavern? Lallana, Firminho, I'm not sure..... coutinho, he was a Rodgers buy. I'm surprised such a top manager like Klopp can't get a tune out of the when he has ran them out of ideas!
Sterling was signed by Benitez. Thing is before Klopp came in a lot of the players in the squad were viewed as not good enough and basically a waste of money. Lallana, Firmino etc. were not the same players. I'm not really sure what the point of what you're saying is though.
Then why put down Rodgers having a better points average and nearly winning the league as "because he inherited a better squad than Klopp"? I am pretty sure they have both had the same number of transfer windows at that stage.
Nobody did, I was asked my opinion on why Rodgers had a better points average than Klopp, I stated that I believe he inherited a better and more experience squad. Also the fact that in his first season Klopp didn't get a pre-season with the players and had to take over in October was also a disadvantage.
But Klopp inherited the squad that almost won the league (bar 1 player) so I would argue against that point.
Nope. Glen Johnson, Raheem Sterling, Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez & Daniel Agger all left between the end of that season & Klopp coming in. A lot more than '1 player'. Plus Sturridge has clearly been effected by the injuries between that campaign and Klopp coming in.
Not going anywhere, I accept they were inherited by Rodgers and were probably better than what Klopp inherited in their positions.
Not really, thought Agger was long gone before Rodgers and the way you all called Johnson I didn't realise you rated him so highly. Gerrard I can understand, even though he was close to finished he was still better than anything you have now. If you think the squad Rodgers inherited was much better than the one Klopp inherited I will go with that
