Commentators are on about how Huth and Morgan need replacing (cause of their age) but apparently they aren't going to be easy to replace... Personally I think a couple of cones would do it, you'd get the same amount movement from them

Did nobody notice that Leicester stuck two DM in front of these two and invite sides to cross and then just pulled and dragged on SET PIECE?

There two were done last year but got by.

They just had form up front and only needed long ball to score.

I think Leicester are awful compared to the hull side we played and that hull side is prob better than Sunderland and Swansea too.

I would laugh if Leicester did go down

What price were they to go down at the beginning of the season? 50-1 or similar if I recall....cheeky £20 on that and I'd be happy right now.

I wouldn't laugh....they lived the dream. Can't blame them for that.....

Which ever set of fans keeps singing 'I'm into something good' (Man U fans?) needs to learn something new. Been singing it since the first half and its really ****ing irritating, especially as its the same 3 lines over and over again.

I nearly did. Found the odds on Bet365 (can't remember what they were now) and stuck a fiver in the box but bottled it <grr>

Jurgen Klopp's six-year Liverpool contract questioned by Dietmar Hamann

Liverpool acted with their "hearts and not their heads" when they offered manager Jurgen Klopp a six-year contract in the summer, according to former Reds midfielder Dietmar Hamann. Hamann wrote in the Sunday Times that the decision to give the German a four-year extension after only one full season at the club was "madness."

"He had an impact and has improved some players but if you look at the pure facts, the points average didn't improve dramatically from Brendan Rodgers' time," Hamann told Match of the Day 2 Extra. They have lost two finals - both they could or should have won - and then the club make a decision with their heart and not their head and extend the contract."

Liverpool were Chelsea's closest rivals at the top of the Premier League on 4 January - trailing by five points - but are now fourth, 13 points behind the leaders.

"If you look at the table, they were one of the favourites for the title six or eight weeks ago and now there is a big question mark whether they will finish in the top four.
"In recent years whenever the chips have been down the team have failed and that hasn't changed with Klopp. Whether Klopp can change it with this team, or another, I am not sure, but something has to change because the way the team is going in recent years is not good enough."

Really not sure what his contract has to do with anything...has he looked like he's less motivated...got his teeth whitened...ditched the wife for a younger model? Lol..

As far as I can see he has done exactly what he said he would do..try to coach the bulk of the original squad before going out and making wholesale changes...by all means if he doesn't add to squad after trying that ...questions can be asked...and not just of him.

Chelsea have 30 more pts this ssn after 24 PL games than last ssn (59 v 29); Liverpool +12; Spurs & MUFC +5; M City & Arsenal +2; LCFC -29.

I hate stats but it's perspective..all the teams with good coaches have improved on last year.

All of those teams bar maybe spurs have had a dip at some point this season.

One team rectified it better than the rest and will probably be champions. The rest are very close.

It was a very poor challenge though Trebs, and made out of frustration at losing possession. Could have easily seen red.
