**** me Boro are boring.....decent results for us today, if tomorrow goes well then double bonus. Figured we'd be stranded after this run of games, maybe not!
So if the other two tomorrow go our way, then the better for having three to pick off, we could be out of the bottom three next Saturday. Just the small matter of beating Arsenal, but with Wenger sulking in the stand and his lot coming up against our fearless heroes well what's not to like.
Even if we lose, we can shrug it off as 'it's Arsenal'. It doesn't matter about the result, it's about keeping the performance up and there's no shame in being beaten by higher quality. The lads won't be too worried and we can crack on against Burnley (who now feel like much less of a bogey team).
Boro & Palace deep in it cos us & Slumberland are on a roll.. Leicester might be dragged right into it this weekend and I don't expct Swansea to got owt either
Need Citeh to do us a favour and tonk Swansea into the middle of next week, then we'll have a better Goal Difference...Though got a feeling it won't happen..
Exactly that, their much vaunted unbeaten home record could easily have been shattered - despite us scoring a late, late equaliser we were much the better side and had someone/anyone brought their shooting boots we could easily have won.
I get the feeling the 'throw away game' attitude is very much against Silva's philosophy and you have to admire him for that. He wasn't happy when we lost at Chelsea even though the performance was very good and he was definitely focussed on beating Bournemouth, United and Liverpool. His priority seems to be to concentrate on fine-tuning the mechanics of his own team to the highest standard, and that standard must then be maintained no matter who the opposition is. It's great for the players because they can play without fear, solely concentrating on their own performance rather than the reputations of opposition players. Mr Bruce take note.
Certainly looking like any three from six to go down - could even be three from seven should B'mouth continue as they are doing.
