****ing 2-0 win to us after that ass whooping klopp is going to give those bunch of overpaid turds for today's shambles. I could play better stoned than what we saw today.
It's a whole team issue. 1. The defense is total **** and keeper is a ****. This any side knows all the need is one December to delivery off a set piece and follow it in. 2. Firmino is utter tosh. His record of goals to games shows he is a chaser not a creator and he's stopped chasing so he's actually worthless. 3. The midfield is indeed a bunch of cowards. They think safety first all the time and never play a thing fast enough to break a defense. 90% of lfc "attacks" are against set defenses as we give sides time together set. Thus things must change but in reality there are no options to come in, not one. So if klopp changes I don't know how he will do it. He has to find a way urgently. My view is drop Firmino and can no1. If he tried a 343 I'd put coutinho lallana and mane up front but after that.... the cb options are ****... it'd be Lucas in and who would play cm beside Henderson? Wijnaldum can't play in that two imo. Most of all the message here is 3/4 players need dropping but there's no replacement
Which makes it all the more frustrating to some that we didn't strengthen. We all knew we that we needed it. I do support the viewpoint of only if it's who we want....but is our scouting that poor that we only see a small handful of players as capabLe to improve us? Klopp has learned a lesson this season about squad depth. I hope he learns from it
This one could be a game of the season. Definite 6 pointer for the Poool. Spurs lose and the faintest of title hopes has gone. I expect at least a backlash the same as Spurs got from Citeh the other week.
Depends on who's got from the Spurs defence. Spurs first 11 would hammers ours right now....they are defensively sound....unlike us. The only positive would be if they came out and pressed us as we can still carve teams open given space. If I was Poch, I'd sit back, soak it up and break quickly.....it'd be a guaranteed 3 points imo
yup. they only need the one chance v lfc and its bound to go in so play 9 back and kane and alli up front. just wait for the inevitable set piece and its easy street.
Some injuries, and Pochettino does not seem to trust Davies + Wimmer to form a back three with Alderweireld. So I assume it will be a standard back four. "If I was Poch, I'd sit back, soak it up and break quickly." Unfortunately the pressure is on Spurs to win because of the gap to Chelsky. So we may similarly have to try and take the game to you right from KO.
A draw favour Spurs much more than us, we'll be out of the top 4......and you will score. Everyone does
The outcome of this match is outside our control and completely dependent on what Pochetino decides If he has a brainstorm and decides to play an open attacking game to win, we've got a chance. If he comes to defend like Chelsea and the mancs and play for a point, we are stufffed and we might even fall to one of their counters. Is there any manager now naive enough to play an open game against us ?
