You're younger than I thought John. Edit: Oops, shoulda read the earlier ones first! I hope your grandson never loses that happiness with us!
He's been going now for 8 years, and goes to most away games, he just loves it. 3 generations go, me, my son, and his son pictured.
Reminds me of when I was stood outside after the Sunderland game a few years back and had a kid next to me asking who each of the players were as they came out, and I think Boyd came out and I mistook him for Jak, or vice versa. Back when Jak and Boyd had similar locks.
Just summat I remembered from yesterday. Abel, who was responsible for us scoring our first with a fair challenge on the keeper, was hobbling about on his own while the rest of the team mobbed N'diaye. Hudd went straight over to Abel and congratulated him, good captaincy that. Robbo then came over too.
When it came through that you'd scored a second it went mad at Goodison. Happy days for you lads (and us) great result I've got to say your new manager seems to be something a bit special, you looked dead and buried, but he's come in got you extremely well organised and you've now got a genuine chance of getting out of it. Good luck for the rest of the season I hope you can scrape out of it
I think Abel looks happy enough.... I think he's desperate to be a success... when he was hooked he didn't sulk as he has done in the past.
