I'm sick of Mitrovic now. He can't score and he's not a good target man.

Murphy can at least hold the ball up and bring players into the game.

I was really livid with Rafa yesterday for bringing on another defender and making is sit deeper vs ****ING DERBY COUNTY!!!

We almost gifted them a draw yesterday.

I don't know what it is about Rafa not liking long balls but he needs to ****ing get over himself. Long balls are ****ing effective offensively and defensively in some scenarios and later in the games when we're holding on to a win or a draw, winning headers in the oppositions half is crucial.

If you can win those headers and knock them down to a team mate you get to keep possession and the ball up the pitch as far away from your goal as possible.

    ------

Plus, in the premier league, we need to have a plan B. We cannot just do this 4-2-3-1 lob balls over the top and pass it about and expect to get enough points.

Sometimes you need to play direct and target men are useful if in the right system.

Nah both in a football sense and a business sense mitrovic is ahead of Murphy!

Sorry but you're so wrong I'm beginning to wonder if you eat any muesli at all

What does Mitrovic have over Murphy? He's not a good finisher, he doesn't bring people into the game like Murphy does, he doesn't win headers as often.

He's a better player simple as that ! A couple of **** goals from Murphy and all of a sudden he's of international quality ? I think not

I'm not the biggest mitro fan but the day I start rating Murphy ahead of him is the day I'll die.

Then there's the business element in that we paid around 13 million for a player, so if you want anything close back you can't be fielding crap fizzy pop players ahead of him or you'll get nothing back at all

Never said he was of international quality. I said Mitro has done nothing to warrant a start over Murphy.

Murphy is more experience in english football and it shows.

He's a far more effective target man. He wins headers and brings people into the game, that's often what we need in certain games. Mitro doesn't do this effectively.

Based on your short memory yes and your lack of player rating abilities mate

Mitrovic was doing his bit scoring goals and creating them and couldn't get in the team, he then was unfortunate and got injured and now the entire side is short of goals.

It's as simple as one two three

It's all about opinions but I never get things wrong to be honest

I'll be proved right soon so stop digging mate I'll remind you I promise.

I'm not going to sugar coat this

There's another team giving everything they can to win against us!!!!!

You along with many of our fans need to stop thinking they know better than Rafa because you haven't a ****ing clue about football in comparison. It's ****ing irritating because you'll eventually ensure he leaves and we'll end up being relegated with a manager like Ian dowie next season !!!!

It was Mitro who set up Ritchie for his goal. Also had one or two other useful lay offs. Also had a shot which was close and almost, perhaps should have, scored.

Murphy did naff all on Wednesday. Can't remember him having a shot.

Also Mitro needs to be playing regularly to be at his best. He's been out for quite a while for one reason or another.

People should get off Mitro's back, remember his age and support him and if he gets played regularly he will thrive.

Hayden going off yesterday and making Diame drop deeper was the problem yesterday, we lost the attacking impetus after that. As mad as this is to say, we need Colback to be back from injury as cover for Hayden. Gotta pray Hayden isn't out against Wolves or we'll be in trouble.

We were ripping them apart in the first half, and Diame looked a beast in that attacking role, he's gotta stay there and not drop back if we're gonna win games.

I still think mitro has something to give the team. There is something there in terms of quality and maybe a run will do him good. I honestly think mitro and Gayle up top would work but I know it's not rafas preferred formation.

I didn't know this. How many did we have last time and probably more importantly how close where the chasing pack.

Which interestingly will happen if Brighton win their game in hand.
