Marco is constantly in communication with the players and focused on the game, can the fans please stop trying to distract him just for a ****ing wave!
He's one of these managers that fosters an iron togetherness in his players, in my opinion. Little comments like this will be important to the squad as a whole, I think it has shades of Mourinho before he became a parody of himself. I really hope the good feeling that he's created by his excellent start here will spill over to the owners, and they see fit to reverse Hull Tigers and no-concessions in a sort of exuberant, giddy haze where they become minor matters to them - and we can all move on.
When he first came I read something about his players being willing to run through brick walls for him. I reckon he's building the same relationship with ours.
Only criticism of Marco. He should have brought Meyler on earlier. Meyler fills gaps. Shut all the danger down on their left.
But that is why he is the manager he knows what he is doing we can only guess what might be best or what we would do.
I'm not sure you can criticise that. He knows what he was getting from his right-hand side and had confidence in them.
I dont really care that he doesn't wave , Besides I am far to busy sticking two fingers up at opposition fans to notice If city keep playing like that we wont be going down. Awesome defending. Great Goalkeeping. Didnt see any liverpool fans in n5 Great support for the team No idea who was MON because it was a superb effort from the entire team
Of course i can. Grow **** ski was out on his feet. The Rb was getting pulled all over with no cover. We were under the cosh for too long.
Yep and Tymon too. Myself and Denis were trying to tell him they were getting too much space on both flanks. Improvement on Phelan and even Bruce who just didn't listen at all.
Also thought new RB was having a poor game but then realised he was basically by himself, little support from new Polish fella, but was clearly a strategy as he covered 'infield' when we didn't have the ball. Concluded new RB wasn't far off MOM, certainly a podium finish
The tactics in the second half were to block any chance of getting through the centre of our defence, shutting down Coutinho, cede some possession on the wings and try our best to deny any chances to cross. Worked a treat, as far as the scoreline goes.
