I must be watching a different bottom battle than alot of you guys. There is real fight at Swansea, Hull, Sunderland......33 points will not be enough. Shameful to rely on the lowest total ever anyway, but it won't be enough.
Not calling for his head and I really do acknowledge the board have caused our problems, but this team is way too good to be even considered for a moment of being in a relegation battle. I'll be very disappointed if we do end up near the bottom.
Hmm, okay... Positives from today - 1 - Manolo Gabbiadini 2 - Marco Silva only has a contract until the end of the season at Hull. (Sorry Claude).
Sunderland is a must win. Great goal Gabbiadini. Other than that, doesn't look good. 6 losses in 7. Board to blame but also should not be in this position. Cup final only thing to distract from what could be a huge backwards step. Don't know what else to say.
Partly. We haggled for a lower price, we could've just accepted their initial valuation or close to it.
Oakley, if you have thought that from day one then there's no point in replacing him. Big Sam is busy.
I don't see how people are comfortably proclaiming we'll be fine and get enough points. We can't beat the teams below or around us with our best team. The options from the bench are not the players you turn to when you're losing, there are no game changers. Virgil and now seemingly Boufal is out for a while. Not to mention that three teams below us have a game in hand. Hull and Swansea have hit a huge turn in form, Sunderland seemingly have too. Luckily we still have to play those teams below us. But I think it's far too flippant of people here to just assume we'll get the points. With poor defending, important injuries, awful form and the inability to look dangerous let alone score a goal, these last few months wont be easy.
Well are 7 points off relegation even after our terrible form of late so we aren't in a relegation battle yet. But my message is clear. We are fast approaching that stage which is unacceptable as this team is too good for that. This team should be able to comfortably finish safely in the bottom half.
We just dont seem to have a playing style or identity and thats down to the manager and coaching team. I wont call for him to be replaced just yet cos its been a case of rotten luck and the board letting him down, but for me he is running out of games to turn it around. I would not be unhappy if they replace him but hopefully it wont come to that
3 games of the bottom teams picking up points and 3 games of us not picking up points, thats all it would take
Is there any chance you could please stop saying that? On behalf of all Saints fans everywhere. Thanks.
