Ahh, so they were wanted then, just that someone had to be sold for the next big name to be bought since you cant keep everyone and those clubs have to make a statement buy every year.
    Makes sense now <ok>

Was that the case with Liverpool and Suarez?

You think they are similar? Suarez moved up in his career to beat team in the world, where as the they 2 have taken a step down.

We wanted to keep Suarez, I'm sure if Barca and Madrid wanted to keep them both then they wouldn't have left for Arsenal who aren't in the same class as the two Spanish teams.

Of course not, I only asked that because of the way you said they sold them so clearly didn't want them.
Barca and Real are in a different place to most teams, they are expected by their supporters to buy the next big thing every season and have to make room (and money) available for that.
It's not surprising that neither team sell many of their first team strikers or defenders, usually midfielders are easier for them to exchange with another big name of similar quality to who they sell.

    Chelsea vs Arsenal.

What's the best result for us? Is it still a draw which means that we. Make up 2 points on both or a Chelsea or Arsenal win which would be 3 points for us on the losers.

It is still a long way and I wouldn't mind an Arsenal win. Which would make the title race a bit more interesting.

If you think we have a chance of finishing above either and arsenal falling apart like they usually do it would be arsenal win best result.

As far as top 4 finish goes be a Chelsea win surely.

Draw, not sure what help that would be.

Draw. Always want a draw. 2 teams around you both dropping points is always a better option than one team picking up 3.

A draw means 2 points from 6. Any win is 3 in 6

From 6? It's only one match :bandit:

If they are both around you I would agree but when a team is really so far ahead, we want all the teams to reel them in and the best way to do it is to beat them. Spurs did it, we drew but because everyone else drew or lost it didn't make much difference. And if Arsenal won today (big if) they will be brought a bit closer. Then up to City and the red mancs to contribute. That's the only way I can see Chelsea being caught. Draws are simply not good enough. But will be a good result for us as far as top 4 is concerned.

The best result is arsenals lose 3-0

Top spot is a distant forlorn hope.

But most of all we need to win. Which we just won't.

    1-0 Chelsea.

Possible free kick. Alonso goes in leading wth his arm onto bellerin.

    Game over.

That's a foul and minimum yellow anywhere on pitch and alonso smashed an elbow in Bellarin face before making any contact with ball.

That happens in midfield alonso would be booked.

And again ridiculousness from football. Bellarin is allowed wander about concussed. He should have been right off.

Don't really care about Others results. As long as we win our games.

Te forearm to the face isn't a foul then?

You have to get up up early and have to use your arms no question and no issue, but he made contact with bellerin a face before he headed the ball.

Clearly foul. Min yellow. Seen red for it but in fairness while he's reckless he's looking at ball.

Arsenal have a soft underbelly. I can see them conceding 3 or 4 here.

    This,

Title talk is a pipe dream. A draw or Chelsea win would do nicely. Want to be playing Arsenal in a couple of weeks with a chance to put a decent gap to them.
