Is Mr Henderson taking a leaf out of Mr Mullins's book? Brain Power not running. Charli Parcs not running. Crikey O'Blimey.

I say old boy, did the bartender forget the T in his G&T?

Charli Parcs looks set for the Adonis <ok> Still shorter for the Supreme than the Triumph at the moment!

Can't help wondering that many horses are priced for the festival this year Toppy based on connections rather than form in the book? The bookies got wise after Mullins nearly landed that opening day 4-timer but for Annie falling and are now pricing horses up ridiculously based on who they are with.

But for every Boston Bob there is a Brindisi Breeze <ok>

One that takes my eye in the 3.00 sandown is Lord of the island for,, yes you guessed it, fergal o'brien with Sam twisters up top for his dad's next door neighbor . This horse was third in the lanzarote ant kempton recently.
    Cheers.

Project Bluebook - Picked up by JP after easily picking up a handicap over track and trip. Will love the ground and has Hughes booked.
Missed Approach - Had a wind Op after his dissapointing run first time out and won cosily next time up, jumps well and soft ground suits.
Irving - Gives Buveur 4 lbs but showed his well being when winning the Fighting Fifth, perhap luckily with Petit M falling. Nonetheless the favourite has been jumping fences recently and may need this run.
Le Prezien - Nicholls runs 2 here and its interesting to read that Clan Des will be ridden in the JLT by Sean Bowen, with STD on Politologe. To me, he needs stepped up in trip. Le Prezien's jumping is improving with each race and the step up to 2m 4f is just what he needs.

    Good evening pilgrims

Not around during racing tomorrow, so as the song nearly says ... These are a must to avoid; a complete impossibility .....

At Wetherby last month Hainan won very easily and is hit with a 15lb rise on his return to the course (1.40) I think he can cope with that and can go in again. 9-1 on Betfair. In fourth that day running for the first time after a 321 day break was Baywing, who is a rank outsider of 6 in the 2.45 (25-1 with SJ) He was decent last year and although there are some improvers in tomorrows race, I think the price is an insult.

Over at Sanders, I like Top Notch, Antony and Behind Time for Jonjo.

At Muss in the Scottish County Hurdle I cannot see past Drumcliff

    Good luck all <ok>

    Follow the pattern

Oldest to latest - Ian Williams

Win Lose Win Lose Win Lose Win Lose Win Lose

So his next runner will win 1 25 Lingfield Byron Flyer, shame its only 11/8, then Cool Sky will lose in the 3 15 and then Kirby will get the double up on Appy Days in the 4 15 Lingfield.

Kirby is 3/3 for him too

Joy of British racing is the variety. Today we have heavy ground at the new home of the King George whilst we have good ground up in the North of these great isles. Throw in Wetherby and the artificial stuff at Lingfield and we have lots of variety.

Clan Des Obeaux to jump them ragged in the Scilly Isles, this boy might go to the very top over fences if he can strengthen up further in the summer.

Similar can be said about Behind Times who will be a smashing chaser next season and can resume his improvement today. He is a big baby so I think that run last time will bring him on even further.

Diego Du Charmil is interesting today on better ground and I think he has more to show than he was able to produce at Ascot the last twice.

Finally I think Rock The Kasbah is fairly handicapped and can take this enroute to the festival. He reminds me a bit of Native River in terms of his novice chase season and I think he has more untapped potential than we have seen so far.

Morning all, let me be the first to suggest that the former Closutton inmate Turban looks attractively handicapped based on his Irish form. No recent form of particular note but this particular Henderson has shown a knack for sweetening up this type. 33s and rank outsider of the field in the 3.35 @ Sandown but worth an ew poke. Good luck everyone.

Small stakes Canadian for interest today (don't be confused by the race times as they are CET not UK time)

From Paul Nicholls in his Betfair column:

"Goes well fresh, wants good ground and I probably ran him too quickly at Ascot after he won on his seasonal comeback at Chepstow in October. He then found the ground much too testing at Ascot before Xmas. He has had a nice break since then and this track and going should be altogether more suitable for Diego Du Charmil, who like quite a few of mine, looks handicapped to the hilt."

On the drift all morning and will probably win half the track ;) <laugh>

These trainers don't half talk some ****e. 7lb higher than when winning at Cheltenham hardly makes him handicapped to the hilt. The race which generally goes to the best fiddled 4 year old too. What he probably means is this isn't his target so when he finishes 5th or 6th, 15 lengths of the winner he'll get himself a few more pounds off which will set him up lovely for another festival handicap plot <laugh>. Nicholls seems to have hit a flat spot since Christmas though still 200k ahead in the trainers championship.

4/4 for kirby and Streak extends Win Lose Win Lose Win Lose Win Lose Win Lose Win.

He's got 2 in the musselburgh race though at 3 15 <erm> imagine both will lose and it's just a race-by-race win/lose pattern, or one of the two could win.
