Its time for the lads to stand up and be counted, and today is going to be that day, bring it on 1-0 to the lads and I dont care who scores the all important goal.

Did you know that the cover photo of the Who album 'Who's next' was taken at Easington colliery.
The one where they all had a wee on the concrete plug.

I think we will draw 1-1

2-0 palace. Can see them scoring early and sitting back knowing as long Defoe doesn't get space behind them we have no threat. The 2nd goal scored between the 75th and 85th minute as we get caught on the break. Benteke 1st goal (free header) PVA or Cabaye with 2nd. Borini to have a glorious chance at one nil only to be distracted by a reflective surface and proceeded to **** to his reflection. Adnan (if he plays) stays nice and warm in PVA's pocket.

Got a sneaky feeling we will win this one - don't know why, just have.

Can see it being a 1-0 with it being a really cagey affair with neither really wanting to take the initiative.

Saying that we'll probably lose 4-0 now <laugh>

How does everyone feel about this #keepthefaith campaign and the video that goes with it?

I'm all for the club reaching out to the fans but there's something about this that feels a bit desperate imo.
Despite that, I'm feeling quite confident about today. I have no idea why.

Every game is a cup final at the moment, but this is a massive game. A win keeps it interesting, a loss and that gap will feel too big to close up with our squad. I really have no idea what we will do, I just hope we win.

Have a feeling we'll get thrashed today, beneteke loves scoring against us, Townsend and PVA will be up for it. Just don't see us with enough quality to win this.

Big Sam made it work with JD upfront by himself, moyes just hasn't replicated that, all be it with a far weaker squad

That`s exactly the sort of player we needed and didn`t get

I think Sam has spent well the last two windows and expect it to start to come together about now although they can leave it till next week if they like, I`d be surprised if they don`t start totting up a few points.

Exactly, moyes knew it, we knew it, but the club couldn't make it happen. Happy with anichibe when he's fit, but I was so frustrated with the whole ulloa business, ranieri pissing me off, not selling his 5th choice striker, club not offering more etc.

Sad state of affairs. Makes me want to play someone like denayer or rodwell further up field, desperately need someone to hold up the play.

I don`t blame him one bit mate. For me it`s the clubs fault for not making sure we offered the right fee or at least pursuing other targets. Seems to me to be a half hearted attempt in the `well we tried` vein without being fully committed.

I just hope it doesn`t come back and bite us on the arse.

I'd understand if he was playing every week, but 1 start all season? Think he's being an arse personally.

This game is a watershed for both managers, I know who my money would be on. Sincerely hope we can beat the odds, to do this could save our season, which is rapidly going down the pan.
