    Back to Rangers according to:

    http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport...rangers_look_to_old_boy_lovenkrands_1_3669661

Is there actually a coherent plan at NUFC?
It seems many are divided on Loverman's contribution in the squad ATM but surely to God he's better than Ameobi?

I will actually be rather happy if he goes. Pardew says he wants to bring in 1 striker, plus he wants to replace any player who leaves, so if Lover leaves we get TWO younger, and probably BETTER strikers.

Pleased with the amount of our youngsters going out on loan.

And Loven leaving doesn't really bother me.

Loven going will pave the way for a youngster to grow :)

Not exactly a disaster is it? I like Lover but he'd be gone next year anyway.

We can't afford to get rid of Lovenkrands, he's the only proven striker we have a little bit of pace. Sure he's not great but why sell him? We're struggling to get one new striker in as it is, no need to make it two.

We should sell him while we can get money. I lost count of the number of games he went missing in last season, he seems like a top bloke but not good enough anymore in my opinion.

This is ofcourse assuming we get another striker.

Not really bothered tbh. As already said, he's only going to hold the youngsters back.

He's not brilliant either way. Only reason he's here is cause when he jumped ship no one would take him, so he came crawling back.

I'd rather players like Vuckic and Sammi got a chance than Lovenkrands.

Not a big suprise really. Great guy, always loved the effort he puts in but he isn't really prem quality anymore.

Hopefully get a bit of money for him and give a window of opportunity for a youngster to step up.

Don't think he'll be replaced unfortunately.

Mind. There's been no recent mention of Ranger or Best's moves which
seemed to be the topic of conversation a month or too back. I'd prefer
to see Best staying in the sqaud over Lover or Ameobi.
