All this one team argument is how I feel about North Ferriby , get annoyed when people say we should watch them when City are away ... They are a rival team , 2 relegations and 2 promotions either way , we are direct rivals - in fact as they are the closest team to us I hate them , boooo to Ferriby
And when they get past the turnstiles, they seem perplexed by blocks, rows and numbers. Some of them clearly have never attended a game before.
Why does it matter? They get to see their boyhood team Liverpool fc The team they have supported through the ups and downs, ynwa they say
Seeing a bar in town full of hull liverpool supporters going mental when they score shows they are proper fans Why are they ****s
Proper fans? They are nothing of the sort. They are inadequate ****s adopting a team they have no connection with because their local team isn't successful. Have you ever seen a bar full of people in Hull going mental when St Helens, Wigan or Leeds have scored?
I can remember watching city beat Liverpool 3-1 few years back in the pub. There was a couple of Liverpool fans from the area near me and they literally went into meltdown when "they" where losing..just couldn't take it. Yep these ****ers are needy as ****
In Reply to peter saxtons post I may be wrong Peter but maybe you enjoyed going to the odd blades game for other reasons besides the actual game in those crazy times
I did wonder if it was a wind up but thought **** it and posted as there are daft ****s who think like that.
Has it been suggested it might not just be local Liverpool plastics that have taken up all the tickets, but perhaps a combination of them and the Polish community? We have quite a few Polish in our office and even the ones who aren't interested in football are all desperate to see Grosicki play. Sounds like he's their very own Beckham.
Yes this has already been mentioned that seeing we have a largish Polish community in the town that it may well attract some new supporters.
