According to Klopp, Long has it. Hope Fonte is poor against us, but I am more sad about it than I thought....just like I was when Rickie didn't get much of a chance. You shouldn't have left, Jose.
See, I'm a little worried about league position, so he will not get a drop of sympathy from me till its wrapped up. That £8M can still go either way.
Oh, diddums, Moaninho isn't getting any last minute penalties and teams are playing hard against them. Poor lamb, my heart bleeds for him.
It was only Fonte's debut, against a rampant Man City. So a bit unfair to say Fonte's past it/career is over. Particularly when West Ham have been **** all season, are still above us, and playing us this weekend. Still nice to hear of a poor performance from him!
Incidents like this always make the offside rule extremely difficult to interpret. Mata is clearly offside when the ball is played forward (not interfering), only for it to reach another teammate who plays it on again and you're instantly onside. He could have sat on the six yard box as it was cleared, not moved when it was played forward and then is suddenly onside as it's touched back across goal. How can you defend against that? Hull pushed their defensive line up to catch anyone offside, and it totally backfired. Great save though. Similar to Ozil vs Bayern: (20 seconds onwards) Bayern push way up leaving Ozil well offside in no-mans land, lose the ball as Bellerin gets in behind, suddenly Ozil is onside and has a 10 yard headstart on the fullback getting into the box. Clever forward play?
Bmouth should be OK this season, and they've got their 26 points without much help from Wilson anyway. But they do have a tricky four games in a row coming up (Palace in midweek was basically their chance to get the sun-lounger out for the rest of the season). If they were to lose all four of them, then suddenly their back-to-back home games in March against West Ham and Swansea become rather massive.
He talks a load of **** most of the time. Certainly has reliable sources in the game but more often than not what he says will happen, never does. For example, he claimed Astori was signing with us about 3 times.
Pulis has said in a radio interview that Berahino should be very grateful to WBA. He went on to say that he no longer cared and Saido isn't his problem any more. Let's hope for his sake that Berahino takes this opportunity to get his life sorted out and to start again....can see why he isn't suitable for us.
