Not that I keep tabs on this sort of thing, but wee Charlie's involvements don't seem to last long.

Actually, I do worry about her.

Absolute goddess, but cant keep a man.

Maybe I'm better with my other half. Her Birthday tomorrow, stuck with me for 20 years. Love her more each day, even though she can't sing or dance ;)

Unforgotten is such a good series....still have no idea what is going on. And the standard of acting is terrific.

The Politics Thread can be quite stressful so chiling out to Light of the World and London Town. Great song and one designed to make you feel good. From that group Kenny Wellington has emerged as a top jaszz musician in his own right.

Yep, she really has been through 'All the Lovers' in her life. She should stick with one as 'Better the Devil You Know'. Her problem is that she Believes in 'Love At First Sight', starts 'Spinning Around' and just 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head'. She believes that the 'Tears on My Pillow' are 'Especially for You', but really she should be saying 'Get Outta My Way' and as she has gotta 'Be Certain'. If she could 'Confide In Me' 'On a Night Like This' I would say Kylie 'I Believe In You'. One day She will 'Put Your Hand On Your Heart' and 'Be Certain'. Maybe she should 'Step Back In Time'? 'Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi' what is going to happen to her now. Maybe she should 'Come Into My World' and 'In My Arms' and take it 'Slow' before this 'Time Bomb' goes off .

    :)

I'll hold up my hands and blaspheme. I don't really care too much for Kylie's music. However, it's undeniable that she's cute in her manner and can put a song across. I just don't like the material. But the one song I really like of hers is very good indeed in my opinion. Which gives me the excuse to play it. Must be a couple of years since I last put it up:

I edited it a bit too because when I read it back it was definitely overly harsh. I have to be honest though. Kylie is a lovely girl, there's no doubt, and she can sing great too. I just find the songs a bit iffy.

On BBC4 at the moment is Joni Mitchell in Singer-Songwriters at the BBC. Now Joni is incredible. She can make you cry at the drop of her voice, or make you smile with one line of her own lyrics. I'm not comparing. It's just my preference.
Incidentally, on the same programme is Cat Stevens and back when he was at his height, in the early 1970's, I used to find him a bit lightweight, even though I had two of his albums. Just listened to him on the mentioned programme and he sounds bloody fantastic, so the vinyl might come out over the weekend. All that talent caught in the isolation of today, when he was just one of so many extremely creative artists in a highly creative time.

She definitely started "pop" but has also done some other good stuff.

I'll download that Joni Mitchell programme.
