No he wasn't, he was a starter until he kicked up a stink about not getting the move he wanted, which is when he was dropped.
He's actually started 9/22 so it's more than I thought. He was dropped because he couldn't get in to the side.

I watch Ligue 1 a lot. He has always been on the bench. Started less than half the games last season. Five seconds ago I made a post based on what I already knew, then I went and checked the stat. He was a bench warmer, get over it.
Perhaps if you spent more time posting seriously and less time WUMming people would engage in proper discussion with you. It seems like he started about half their games last season, and had a terrific Euros. He then kicked up a stink when his move to Burnley fell through. He seems excited to be in the PL so let's hope he's motivated to play for us.
He's seemingly always played well for Poland but has never replicated that form for his club. He played super sub for Rennes, he's an explosive player but wildly inconsistent and leave his flank exposed, which is why he was on the bench more often than not.
Hopefully we play him on the left then - where I understand he has played a bit for Rennes - as our right side seems fairly exposed recently.
