Just seen folks going a bit mad on Facebook about TV companies are fighting over the rights over the ten year anniversary of Madeleine McCann going missing.

I've never really bothered reading about it in great detail since I'm really not one for media stories etc (nothing to do with me afterall). However, since quite a few videos were being posted I thought I'd have a gander.

I watched a 45min video that including the Portuguese police investigator that is looking to release a book.

I'm not going to say too much but my god, the evidence he shows is damning!!!

There is so much that is not right about that case from many angles, loads of films around analysing the evidence and most implicating the parents, google it or youtube it

Saw one that used this TED talk on facial expressions of peeps when lying and the analysis paired it with the parents' expressions in different interviews they've given over the years. When people lie they kind of smirk/smile because they know they are getting away with lying and are enjoying duping people, like a micro-expression, those two do it constantly in interviews, plus a lot of other tells

Without saying full on that they sold their child to a gang or killed her somehow and covered it up, there's a lot more to that story than a 'disappearance' or snatching. The way the media has been involved as well doesn't sit right

I've watched a few YouTube videos since posting that comment. Definitely more to it then their letting on.

 

People just can't/don't say **** because 1. if it does turn out she's been taken they'll look like pricks 2. public perception is difficult to change and most believe the 'official' line about her being stolen, those who doubt fear being strung up then the rest are those who believe the story 3. too many organisations are now invested in the abduction narrative and the losses from speaking out make them fearful of doing so
