They are going over because they are trying to force Duchatelet's hand. There are a number of offers on the table but Roland isn't interested.
I think they would need 1,000 to go over for it to register. Then the Belgian police would have to get involved.
I imagine they've already contacted the police over there, so I expect some sort of police presence. Like you say, it needs numbers. If 50 or 60 went Roland and his admirers would be ecstatic, but several hundred would be quite embarrassing for Le Douche. And it would be a decent day out too.
There are no depths that Nigel Williamson won't sink to in order to get a bite. Serious mental issues there I suspect - Mrs Williamson can't be giving him much for him to be trolling on CL at 2.30am.
It'll be great if they get the numbers. They have said they chose that day as Charlton are at Northampton and they don't expect many tickets in the away end. All sounds good to me, it's amazing how gaffe free the club are since Daisy was denied the oxygen of publicity by her comms team !

There is no reason for anybody on this board not to go on this trip. Stop bloody moaning and complaining about who is organising, we are all Charlton fans after all.
The various protest groups made up of the same people have today announced a protest in St. Trond on March 4th. We can assume that the protests will take in the STVV v AS Eupen game at Stayen. We can also assume that the mode of transport will be by coach and Ferry from the UK provided free of charge by the protest fund. On that same day Charlton Athletic Football Club have what could be a crucial fixture at Northampton Town. I would urge the club to lay on free coaches on this day so we can see what coach fills up the quickest, the one to Belgium or the ones to Northampton and go a long way to proving where the fans prefer to be and who they want to get behind and give their support to. You are missing the point Elfs. The "leaders" of this trip are utter twats - Joe Read couldn't run a bath, let alone a successful protest. Ditto Everitt, Hayes and Richard Hunt. Not only that, they don't want genuine involvement, they just wasn't groupies along who will doff their caps when told to.
They are getting off their backsides and doing something. There is no reason for anybody on this board to organise a car to go over and join in, stay away from the people you dislike and stay with your little party.
Forget all the cobblers and the individuals and look beyond that. To continue to complain about what goes on with CARD and Charlton makes you people no different to the views going on over at ITTV. Think about it.

To be fair its a discussion. Some dont like it, others want to be involved. Its what a forum is about.
Yes of course you are correct but................................... ITTV slag off individuals and CARD, much the same as here but they are more OTT. It is all very well to criticise but if you are sat on your bum behind a laptop and doing bugger all yourself then I do not agree. I repeat, there is nothing to stop people getting a trip together on this site.
