Never fear. He doesn't mean it.

I recall he announced he was going to leave not606.

He doesn't keep to his word.

One of the least surprising transfers of the summer. Now we'll see if Charnley and Llambias have learned anything from the previous 5 years of disastrous and embarassing transfer windows and are at this moment about to net Enrique's replacement.

    Or. maybe......not.

Aye AH, I genuinely see the top 4 as any variation of ManU / Citeh / Chelsea / Arsenal with Spurs taking the 5th again. Agree that the bin dippers could get 6th but as far as getting 5th doubt it. I'm hoping the Kenny effect has worn off as well, that's just a hope mind.

  5. I'm not selling my ticket because of Enrique being sold, i'm saying that if Colo is sold i'm out because it will be the final straw for me. Not just one player, but a fantastic manager that did nothing wrong and a selection of players that meant something to the club.

Agree with the top 4, really can't see Liverpool getting in there. And I basically think 5th/6th will be between Spuds and the Scousers, but I just think Scousers will edge it!

    We shall see ;)

I think Arsenal are in big trouble for the top4 I can see them being 5th or 6th this season.

It has been coming for so long guys, long and drawn out process. Although if I were you, I'd be glad you got what you paid for him rather than lose him for free next year. You would have been paying £6m just for him to stay on for another year, whereas this way you can reinvest that £6m on another LB.

I hope he does as good a job for us as he has been doing for you; also those complaining about the sum: Consider the extortionate Carroll fee part of it <laugh>

    Over-reaction over-reaction ruhbarb ruhbarb ruhbarb!!!!

Those players that mean't something the club? Players that were quite happy to leave the club when more money was offered elsewhere? The club certainly didn't mean that much to them.

It's not like anyone expected Jose to stay, we'll find a replacement and we'll crack on, with or without all these loyal players that have all left us.

Edit: And yeah I know I can't spell rhubarb <laugh>

Jose seems to have broken the internet.

Quite surprised looking at the price tag but hope that we were smart enough to sign somebody first before letting him go...would have liked Izaguirre but just seen he's out injured for 5-6 months ...

If we haven't got this Pieters deal in the bag then this is an awful decision. Don't sell your only left back two days before the season starts against Arsenal without having a replacement.

Enrique can **** off to be frank. Can't stand the bloke. His half-arsed play last season, his Twitter outburst and his move to Liverpool 2 days before our key first game just confirms that he's a ****.

He's bad wood though, and his thoughts on the club were never going to help with morale, so now he's gone the new players can come in and form a new bond.

Oh, and I loathe Liverpool even more now. Didn't think it was possible, but I do.

On Five Live's Monday Club two out of three pundits tipped Newcastle for relegation. We're even stronger candidates now.

What's the betting there's no real LB replacement and Ferguson gets thrown in?

Selling Jose 2 days before a big game without a replacement and at a cut price shows the complete lack of football sense at our club. Desperate for a replacement before sat but cant see it. Dont really blame him for trying to better himself but champions league ha ha my arse, really hope they dont get there this season either now. As for showing more ambition thats true but they are in a world of debt and have a dump of a ground desperate for upgrading/replacement and may not even be allowed into the CL.That would be a big laugh.
