My worry is they've had an extra days rest! It does matter when you're defending with all your might! Will tom recover? So many questions.
I can see the attraction of an exiles return, and I really hope they see MS pulling off a great escape - thing is, my non-attendance was never down to the Allams alone, I was happy going to home games under my own terms i.e. buying nothing club related and protesting loudly at any given opportunity, the membership scheme, for me, was the straw that broke the camels back; I'll never buy a membership while kids and OAP's aren't getting a concession, nothing has changed for me. I don't think bad of anyone going to home games and protesting, they've thought it through and made their choice, I've done exactly the same.
Lets face it, we can't predict what the line-up will be on Saturday, Klopp's not going to have a scooby doo what to do to counter us until the teams are announced!
So a good few homegrown scousers. Now here is the thing. Make their day as miserable as possible and if God is on the right side and we take the points laugh right in the ****ers faces with all your might...Both Liverpool and their "fans" are there for the taking this weekend..
Any Liverpool ****s who are in the home sections need to be removed immediately before it kicks off. I noticed a lot oversees students at Hull University are now going to games against the bigger teams.
I've just been to my doc's for a mini-op on a toe. The nurse is a Pool fan She knew what we did last night (when I go in weekly she has clocked our results). The chef in my local is a Reds fan as well. He knew as well. They're both ****ting...
I never bother what the opposite manager says about us because its the normal to say how hard a game it will be ect just so it looks better if they win or not so bad if they lose. Just hope its one of them days when the Kcom is louder than normal and we get 3 vital points if not 1 would do.
none of my mates (from around here) support Hull City. They're all Man Utd or Liverpool supporters. If they ever say owt to me I always retort 'and why do you support Liverpool?' 'errr yeah well my dad's uncle's dog walker once went there so it's in the blood' - they've always some ****e excuse.
It's hardly surprising that there will be a full house against Liverpool. Just as there are those who only ever go to the cinema to watch blockbusters there are those who are only interested in seeing the top 6 teams play. Football is just another branch of showbiz for many. I doubt they are keeping any hardcore supporters - those who turn up regardless of which division we're in - from going as they number 10,000 at most. It is what it is.
There will be many who are continuing their own boycott (who will probably not return until the Allams are gone) and there will be many others who just specifically boycotted the FA Cup match v Swansea. Surely you would realise that - whether you personally agree with the boycotting or not. There will also probably be many Liverpool supporting individuals in the home end.
Having read many of your posts,i know for sure, when in attendance you'll carry out your protests against everything that you feel is wrong with the club with gusto and pride! #eachtotheirown ! UTT Taxi for Eeyore
I am all for a boycott. But can empathise with those that cannot bring themselves to miss out on the good times when they supported the club in the crap times during the last 25 years at Boothferry Park. However I don't call a season ticket holder missing an unattractive game they have to pay for and then returning for an attractive league game a boycott. Lambrettaman can be said to have boycotted it as he had already paid as a Premier Club member so was missing a game he had paid for. Again lots were missing for the Man U League Cup game which they had to pay for but will be back for the Liverpool game. The fact is unless games like Liverpool have swathes of empty seats calls for boycotts are pointless. The Swansea game wasn't particularly noticeable as quite a few Cup games had low crowds. However more attention was brought about by such a low crowd against Man Utd in a semi-final where a boycott wasn't called for. Surprised more mention hasn't been made of, and the reasons for it, the 800 fans who went to Old Trafford on Wednesday, which will surely be the smallest away following there this season and most other seasons.
Why wasn't there a boycott when I was just about to turn 60 and they increased the age for old people concessions from 60 to 65!? I wouldn't be surprised if they increase it to 70 just before I reach 65!
