Because it was very much an after thought, after his initial prediction of a 'spiral' being based on Chelsea buying Mahrez. As people have said, HIAG was hedging his bets with the second edited comment, even if Leicester had finished 1 point of the title this season he'd still be calling it a spiral. It's a coward's prediction.

 

Hilarious seeing the Gimp squirm and having his arse handed back yet again. This daily dry humping he receives by just about everybody makes one wonder that he's not here for the football.

 

You simply cannot accept that I called it exactly as it has turned out. It can never be proven if Hiag would have called it a spiral even if Lesta finished 2nd this season or if they finished with just 1 point less than last season. These are theories being made to stick over facts. With the fact being Hiag called it spot on.....the fact that last year Lesta won the league and reached such a high pinnacle and have declined so spectacularly this season just makes the prediction look that much more impressive. No need to try to disect it like we are in a court of law and this is a murder trial.

When is this Tottenham spiral reaching its lowest ebb Skiddy? Hiag said this season for Lesta, just after a year of creating the thread and he was right...quite impressively since the Champs are in a relegation battle.
Or are you going to call it even if Spurs finish with 1 Point less than last season or maybe a few spots below last years 3rd place finish? Or are you predicting something quite spectacular?

You were well placed, indeed in the best position or thereabouts in the club's history and Hiag still predicted that Lesta will have a massive decline this season and he was right, the fact that you did go on to win the league just set Hiag up for a even bigger, as we call it here 'wum **** up' but he stuck to his prediction and has been proven spot on thus far, for this season, its a massive fall from grace. He made a shout for arguably the best team in the league last year. It just happened to be Lesta, its not a dig at anyone personal its a matter of fact.

You are completely missing the point behind your Quentin tinted specs ... he made the thread on the back of his angst about us having a good season - it's what he does when things are not going his way (hence all his other threads about other clubs) - his prediction did not stem from any astute knowledge of football (gleaned from his armchair) as you seem to be suggesting.

Leicester "might finish in the top 4" - not even "will finish in the top 4" ...anyone can finish in the top 4 let's face it ... but we went on to win it .... way beyond his inference ... it is far more likely that he he was hedging his bets on his 'might' because, like almost everyone else who underestimated us last season, we went on to smash their expectations - FACT.

Having won it - anything less than winning it again is a comparative under-acheivement. Every Leicester fan was aware, during and after, that last season was going to be 'exceptional' ... I'll accept that none of thought that it would be this poor ....

Mate, your scratch the surface knowledge of football runs ... shallow, including not even knowing your own teams' chants, predicting that Arsenal would draw Spurs in the Europey pot and not knowing when a team has drawn or lost. He called nothing, he made a prediction that Leicester would spiral right before they won the league. He only did it because he thought he'd picked up a cheap wum from the gossip column about Mahrez going to Chelsea. Go back and read the OP, that's what this thread is about. The edited comment was an afterthought, to try and hedge his bets, because there was no chance Leicester would win the league again.

It's a coward's prediction and little more, the fact that HIAG is trying to use it to gloss over his library of **** ups is very telling.
