Hi massive, Edward Teach was Pirate 49 and he was, I can't remember the name quite but it was a play on Andy Stochausen - Randy Stockingtops or something, he did admit it to us on here, my original name on BBC606 was cityredoldboy but I changed that 5 years ago, I see cjs has given us some of his titles, I can't remember the one he had when Natch caught him out but a lot of water under the bridge now, just a memory and a laugh now..<laugh>

He didn't try, he officially demoted you, the only one who found him trying was you, he had a catalogue of your nefarious activities down in the West Country with your, I think (Thornbury) buddy, he copied and pasted them all on the forum as proof, you denied the whole thing of course but we all thought it was case proven, you then promoted yourself back to being a pirate captain, we abreviated it down to cjs and you never objected..<laugh>

I dont want to say anything bad about Natch. I just wont do that. What I will say is, if I was CAPSLOCK, I would have admitted it, especially after all this time. You know the crap I been through in my 'not so' private life and what I have recieved on here. I just couldnt be assed to keep denying this, as there is more to life. But I wont admit to something that I havent done. Natch was on a mission to find out who CAPSLOCK was and was determined to pin it on someone. I remember Natch was pointing the finger at others too before he became adament it was me. Just my opinion and like I said, I dont want to upset anyone. I am sorry if I have, its not my intentions though. Natch seen a link in what CAPSLOCK said with something that I said in reference to CAPSLOCK and he put 2 and 2 together and got 5 and then twisted my comments to fit his agenda.
He tried to demote me to private. A lot of you followed his word and to be honest, I wouldnt expect you not too really. However, I may have lost the captain title with you reds but I still had it in gasland. I never have rejected CJS because it is a hell of a lot easier for everyone and for me too <laugh> I would change my name to CJS on here but I know someone would just make a new account using captain jack sparrow and just never use the account, just so I cant switch back to it again as it would be in use. I know what you lot are like <laugh><ok>

    Exactly. Just let it go.

Of course if foul play has been committed and there is such proof then its only right to make a complaint. It wont change the transfer, he will remain with you and I dont think any gashead will want him back anyway <laugh>

But what is the likelihood of there being any firm proof? Yeah if its true that release clause amounts should be kept private and confidential then obviously even you can admit foul play. But its proving it and I cant see Rovers having this so whats the point. It just makes it look like we have sour grapes about it.

I thought though that release clauses didnt have to be private. I thought a club can enquire for that info.

At the same time, where is the proof that Rovers are making a complaint? All the local press are quoting the Daily Mail. Why would Rovers tell them about a complaint and not the local press? I would have thought Rovers would have made a public statement 1st about it.

    Its all very strange.

Speaking to him after the match I asked him if he'd seen the welcome banner on the A35 just before you get to the ground, his replying was something like '****ing ****heads, i ****ing hate them, the only good ****head is a dead ****head' I then informed him I thought I made quite a good job, 'what, that was you? you ****ing ****', I laughed

It's always common knowledge. How many times do we hear Man Utd or who ever are triggering the release clause. Even Wenger offered £40million and 1p to Liverpool for Suarez so how did he know about the 40 million clause.
I'm not saying you lot are appealing but all the top players have them and it's always common knowledge. But it was in the Mirror apparently back in December I saw somewhere today.

Im guessing, and purely guessing, so dont quote me on this but maybe teams can contact a club and enquire about their services and maybe the selling club would have to say if there is a release clause and if so how much. Going by what I have read and heard from DC, City didnt enquire on price availability but instead went straight into a bid for the exact amount of the release clause, which would raise suspicion of foul play.

Going by your examples from the prem, the release clause is usually way higher than the player is actually worth, so the selling club is only too happy to disclose the release clause, saying if you want the player, pay up X amount to meet the release clause. If they just make a bid without knowing what the release clause is then the club owning the player can just reject the bid. So your examples are kind of different to our case.

Again this is just guess work trying to understand the rule and putting 2 and 2 together <ok>

Not really, if they are the rules then they are the rules regardless.
