Off Topic Film remakes: are they all dreadful?

Cape Fear , either of them , were fantastic . Scary sh1t man.

 

I loved The Departed. Which I believe was a copy of a Chinese film about police corruption.

 

Superman remakes are rubbish.

The original Amytiville Horror was fackin scary, the remake....not so much.

 

Ah **** I've misunderstood the question, bit stoned.

So a better remake....erm.....don't know.

Yep have to say I quite like them. Not the Tim Burton? one though, the newer one.

The remakes of
Assault on precinct 13
The taking of Pelham 123
are criminal

 

Every ounce of tension and drama from Assault on Precinct 13 was taken out in the remake, it was ridiculous how the film makers got that so badly wrong

 

Again, De Niro.

Come out, come out wherever you are.

True Grit with John Wayne was ok.

The Jeff Bridges one was rather excellent, I thought.

 

SaintsFan remake is plain awful, worse than the worst ever original HIAG - which says a lot

 

I thought this was the best comedy






But the sequel had me rolling about all over the place.

 

How anyone can't see that Skiddy is a troll is beyond me. The weak man can't stop following Hiag around.
