Well done the lads. Not an evening to debate who is for Ollie and who is waiting etc etc. An evening to revel in a point few of us expected to gain this evening. One point closer to safety and the signs of a proper QPR team emerging. Quite content with that and good night!
Slightly worried that they might take a look at Lynch running on Ameobi - could see that going either way tbh
I don't think they can as the Assistant Referee (linesman in proper terms) clearly saw the incident. He flaged for a free kick & stated that it was only a push. At least it looked that way to me!
seconded thanks for the link i will get into so much trouble if they ever check to see my computer use
Draws v. Newcastle and Fulham over the last 3 games aren't an accident...as well as the 3 wins before Burton. 11/18 points = Playoff form over a season.
We can all take sets of results to suit our own feelings. If you look at the previous six games before the 3 wins and 2 draws and 1 defeat, we would have had zero points out of the six consecutive losses which would have made us stone cold last in the table. Overall at the moment, we have dropped in the table since we changed Manager's so put the champagne on ice until things really improve.
I was up in the middle of the night ( here in Oz ) and thought l'd watch the live text results, as they came to hand. A goal after 37 seconds had me running to the toilet ........ ok, only joking. Watch transpired after that was truly great. Our team fought back and made a game of it. I hope Ollie pushes the point of fighting it out to earn a draw. Great stuff, good to hear the many happy comments from other members.
I'd be surprised if anybody still prefers that pragmatic bollocks served up by Jimmy Fraud. If the new signings do their bit and don't adversely impact upon the growing team dynamic I see no reason not to be optimistic for next season.
