    Newcastle are in control of this deal they can decide if we do it or not, so why the **** are we not saying yes we will sell you him but after we sign a replacement?!

    I suspect Fat Ash was playing hardball on the fee, hence the delay in the deal getting done. Next up for the exit will be Barton and hopefully Smith...

    Right here's how it will go down.

    1) Jose to Liverpool
    2) Pieters has a release clause allowing him to leave for €8m
    3) NUFC bid €3m
    4) deal breaks down
    5) no left back in to replace Jose.

    Is Kadar definitely fit though? Havent seen his name on a first team or reserve side in pre season. Fergie said he was training on Monday, might need to ask him to play.

    If we dont get Pieters in for Arsenal (or at all <yikes>) then our options for LB are Kadar, Fergie, Jonas, Marveaux or Dummett.
