Mourinho had perhaps forgotten about the 3-4 yellows his team never got for persistent fouling. How forgetful. Jakupovic. Wow. That was truly extraordinary.
How did Snoddy get on? Hope his Big move to a that huge Club West Ham started with a win, anyone know the score? How many did he score?
Absolutely. Takes all the pressure off his team. People will only talk about his post-match reaction tomorrow like when we won in the second leg.
Great point and could have won it , Jak on fire ... Great atmosphere for such a small following - going to be in this car park for an hour but never mind ... Do do do Eldin jakupovic
Half the callers on MUTV. "Ibrahimovic was gash", "Rooney has to go" "Their keeper wasn't good, our forwards are rubbish"
Definitely worth a read. Sunny Jim won't watch another game for a month and we've "totally ruined [simons] week"
ibra says this about jak “I did not see any chances where it was difficult for the goalkeeper, it was not a good save from Juan Mata, it was a bad finish. Some saves he made for the cameras."
You'll be struggling to get ticket for Saturday.... after today and since MS arrival massively painful for those of us that are standing fast...
"Lord Nelson, Lord Beaverbrook, Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Anthony Eden, Clement Attlee,Henry Cooper, Lady Diana. Maggie Thatcher, can you hear me? Maggie Thatcher ... your boys took a hell of a beating! Your boys took a hell of a beating!"
Jak's save down by his right hand post was world class. A couple of the others were very good indeed. He's becoming much more confident and showing signs of being an imposing presence.
Mutv predicted a 3 or 4 goal, win. To be honest it showed a big club mentality and it isn't pleasant watching. Anyone would think Donald Trump has just banned the wearing of red.
. Spot on. Jak is an inspiration to the whole team...not only with his brilliant goalkeeping but also his wholehearted enthusiasm and infectious attitude. No matter who we are playing I always feel we have a chance of taking points if I see his name in the starting line up. As for the match...what a brilliant team performance. Jak was clearly MOM but all the rest were heroes and must be feeling very proud of themselves in the dressing room. Silva has made a massive difference in our style of play and team selection. The window additions all seem to be integrating well, with Grosicki and N'Diaye still to show what they can do. Andy Robertson was excellent today and showed what a team player he is by rejecting the Burnley move. If we can stay free of injuries we have a very good chance of staying up. What a tragedy that an incompetent manager put us so deeply in the hole with his tactics and team selection...primarily in goal.
I love the way he celebrates every save like Sunday league keeper who won a competition to play for his team
Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic: "We are very disappointed. If you don’t win the games, you should be disappointed. We had great chances to score and we should have won. It was a very important game. “I did not see any chances where it was difficult for the goalkeeper, it was not a good save from Juan Mata, it was a bad finish. Some saves he made for the cameras." What a ****.
