Agreed. His leaving the pitch to be subbed by McShame was the turning point. Within 5 mins Donkey Boy had failed to control the ball and they equalised from the resultant corner. I hope Alex empties his pockets before he leaves.....Suarez is still in there.
Ah yes but in an alternative universe we signed him and on Sunday 21st May he scores the goal that keeps Hull City in the PL
Deluded - that's why he's ended up at a bottom 3 Championship club - maybe he would still be with us if his dad was still here- however Silva didn't think he was was good enough for a bottom of the table Prem team and Junior thought he was good enough for a bottom of the table Championship club
I had no idea you were on such good terms with the new manager. Ehab hated Alex Bruce because of Bruce Snr's popularity.
The deal was delayed due to the time it the name. A shorter one would have been much better, as it's quicker to write.
Hang on, I recognise this obsession. You are John Fenwick. You've ditched your Peter Taylor dossier, and updated it with Steve Bruce. Welcome back John.
The Allams didn't want to sign him in the first place, Bruce persuaded them to take the chance. He did the job expected of him, but why on earth should that be celebrated? He turned up and did some football. He was everything except good enough for the PL. As for the Suarez thing, it'll live long in the memory and his, but so will Richard Stearman's goal for Wolves against Liverpool last week, it doesn't make him good enough.
No, I'm sorry, I'm not having that. As a matter of scale, presumably you think that as we beat Liverpool we're a better team than them? He isn't 'too good for Suarez'. He had a good game against him. Pacquette, who scored for Havant and Waterloovile in the FA Cup against them, must've been too good for Liverpool then? Was he balls, he's had about 30 clubs since then. He just had a good game that game, same with Bruce.
You stated he wasn't good enough for the PL. I demonstrated by example a game when he snuffed out the best striker in the world. This doesn't mean he's the best defender in the world, or that he is a better player than Suarez. it just means when he plays well, he's more than good enough to play in the PL.
