It's obvious from the team the Lennon is building, that flair players are sacrificed for tougher, bruiser type midfielders like Kayal and Ledley. Come on now lads, you know he didn't feature as much in the 2nd half of the season with the likes if Commons coming in, all I am saying is he could become a better player if he was given the chance ever week. Do you honestly think he will be a first teamer?
How is it a wind up? He has talent but it's unlikely he will be a 1st team player. Players often get better playing regular football, a loan deal for example could give him that.
He's 27 years old. He's not consistent enough to be in the team every week. He'll start some games but will be a sub in most. There are better players in the squad than McCourt.

Maybe for the sake of his international career he should move on. If he isn't getting regular club games, it is very unlikely that Trappatoni is going to pick him.
