I suppose it does take some pluck to go back out and face another half knowing that one of the linos doesn't know the offside rule and that the ref will book you if you complain about it..:emoticon-0112-wonde

Common usage, surely? Perhaps not, wherever you're from.
In the context I used it it means "fortunate" or "lucky for you". I don't know what it means in YankSpeak.

    Not trawling back over this

    Pretty open game

We defended pretty well apart from the obvious Mignolet looking at pigeons on the stand roof and the wall taking a coffee break for their free kick. Matip playing regular makes a big difference. I guess people will say he redeemed himself with the penalty save, not so says I since it was one of the ****test pens I've seen and a pigeon would've saved it just by stretching its wing a tad

They snuffed out most of what we threw at them or we just didn't take the chances like Firmino trying to hit the pigeons on the stand roof so that Mignolet would start looking at the game instead of thinking about feeding them fat balls

Fair result probably, thankfully Spuds and Arseholes both also bottled it

From what I see on TV the yanks tend to use it in place of "well done", if you had put "its a" in front of it I wouldn't have mistaken you for one <ok>

Are you, by any chance, a pigeon fancier?

England ... Good job I didn't go and visit Biscan in Brighton or I'd have lost my anal virginity somewhere during the trip

USA ... 'Good job !!' say all your teammates as they jump on you after you just scored a hat trick in a game of fasoccerball

I keep them in my trainers ...

Why do you think I have so many trainers and always go on about pigeonés ??

Telling that Chelsea did drop points but becomes a fantastic game week for them anyway.

We stopped the rot but didn't win the game so looks like we could just go under the radar now and string a few wins together as the media heat swiftly shifts to the Arsenal hob

I was pissed off seeing him on the team sheet tonight but played really well I thought

I thought he was poor first half but picked up in the second - as did the rest of the midfield.

So we finally stopped the rot (temporarily) - it was a decent performance for a change. We pressed well and we got into great positions, and finally created some good chances.

Could have easily lost, could have easily won - draw is probably fair. Thankfully, spurs and arsenal both dropped points as well. Let's hope both Manchester clubs slip up as well.

It was a embarrassing goal to concede - Migs completely unaware and Hendo ducked under the ball.

Out of all cup competitions, our future is still in our hands to finish in the top four. We finished 8th last season,
it will be an imoprovement to finsh 4th or above. Forget about the title. Simon Mignolet redeemed himself by saving the penalty last night. We still need a goal keeper next season. We can keep on asking others to do us favour, we need to win our own games.
