How can you go to bed when such a masterclass exhibition of football from the 'Orns is there to be watched?
If I stay up I'm tempted to keep looking at the transfer thread, when I get up at 4 am I can see all the done deals!
Morning, Dave; morning, all. Still dark. An interesting evening. (That's me, Matej and Seb) Sorry about Brady, Dave. Good money but it the loss greater than £13m in terms of Prem return?
Morning all from a wet island. How times change, they just played "Twisting by the pool" by Dire Straits on Vintage TV - you won't have the line "You're never out of reach, there's a call box on the beach" in a song now.
I remember sleeping in a Heidelberg subway in my younger days, in the mistaken belief that it would shelter us from the rain. Needless to say, Petula Clark was warbling on the tranny... Another great musical era.
oh.... trannies.... i remember the joys of radio luxembourg... the signal used to fade and come back... of course trannies are something else in this era.
Morning all. Yesterday was bright, sunny and warm, and despite a little more breeze it is very similar at present. I was amazed when I went down my fields in the afternoon to see that the daffodils have some nice fat buds on them. They were a few bulbs that I didn't have room for in the house garden, so popped them in in a sheltered sunny spot. As I had forgotten all about them it was a surprise to find that I will have Spring flowers before long.
Days of drizzling rain here, dreadful weather. I might have to move south for a third time. I won't mention Brexit to the locals.!!!
An amazing video - an eagle is released from the top of the world's tallest building with a camera attached to its back - the way it picks out its handler from that height and flies straight to him is just something else...
Evening all, rather overslept this morning, so had to dash as I promised that I would be mixing tile cement and generally helping with laying tommettes. In English there is only one m. My daughters house was a farmhouse and stored produce on the first floor. 2nd floor in France as there is not a ground floor. The floor up there was covered with them laid in mud. These were all reclaimed and have been used downstairs. It was easier to find tile cement than loads of mud.
Night all I am up to Aviemore for a long weekend... .so unlikely to be too active here... unless of course there is wi-fi on the train etc
