When clubs get promoted the supporters, ours included, talk of wholesale change to compete. So lots of player change is generally acceptable in that circumstance. Clubs get relegated and supporters and club want change; it's a merry go around. If we stay up then maybe we can hang on to the ones who made it happen and ditch the ones who didn't. Personally, forget the owners, that **** will work itself out, eventually. Players, they come and go, it's managers who get them to stay, or leave; rarely clubs. If Silva pulls this bold and determined restructuring off and keeps us up, it is him,, and his team, we have to hang on to. If he doesn't, we lost **** all except a bit of hope.
I can't see why we let Alex Bruce go btw Clearly not first choice, but he's a competent body when the other bodies crumble
First question. 'Right lads the million dollar question, what are you red and white or black and white' ?
Sometimes the deals are done before the deadline but not announced for a short while afterwards. Expect transfers to be confirmed after 11pm
It would have to be a bloody fast medical - Toss him in a tumble dryer for 5 minutes and see if he comes out alive!
I'm not particularly unhappy about it as a strategy, even if I don't agree with a couple of choices If anything them getting some loan back makes a sale easier Was going to take a miracle anyway, but if we go down it will take some buying to build it up again to anything like
He isn't as good as Maguire, Davies or Dawson, or probably Ranocchia. That's 4 in front of him (or 3 if you count the injury to Davies). He isn't good enough to play in the Premier League, he's better off in the Championship putting his body on the line in a relegation battle.
Maybe that's why pappa turned up to sort the medicals. He gets them to drag a generator across the training pitch
