I don't know about unwittingly leaning favourably to another. I would say bias is more knowingly leaning favourably to another, showing favouritism to another. Anyway let's hope he doesn't referee the final.
I'm not disappointed at tonight's result. Swansea are vastly improved under Clement. But what I am annoyed at is Puel dismissing the FA Cup as a mickey mouse cup and playing the likes of Isgrove, Lewis and Gardos.
It's perfectly acceptable for someone to believe that though. It is their opinion. Is it not slanderous to call out the manager without knowledge of everything at the club? What's the difference?
Ex professional players have questioned making so many changes as well. They would know perfectly well about fitness.
Disappointed at the result but I realise that the team is average,so is having an average season. The last couple of years have given some fans a false sense of entitlement and expectation. Being entertained is a bonus but the bottom line is dont get relegated. Other teams dont roll over because we want them to. We have a lot of injuries and players still settling in. It is not the end of the world. There will not be a rally outside St Marys to call for the removal of Puel, as seems to be the current fashion for having a strop. Amen.
Did you ever find your toys after your last strop? I'm not sure anyone said cheat, although I've not read every post, but facts don't need to get in the way of justification. Look Tom, no one is happy we lost, and I appreciate your sentiments with refs, but sometimes just let it go, people see things differently. You cant fight every war and you will never change the world...
Every club made changes, even the top Championship ones. Even if I didn't agree, that would suggest the managers might all have a point.
Well you don't actually know if they do or don't. It is possible they do. I don't think they cheat but I don't know that. I often wonder if they get swayed by things and it affects their decisions. This is entirely possible. As Beefy says, you do need to chill. I don't see you defending politicians, so how can it be they could be dishonourable but a referee couldn't be?
Third choice CBs which we could very much rely on the majority of the rest of the season. A key injury list, see previous sentence. Potentially one signing coming in (please Manny be good/please Boufal play as we've seen you can). Away from home, we've put in some ****e performances at home as well! To opine on your post.
I am not having a strop, I just get annoyed when people accuse referees of cheating just because they had a bad game.
Have we further strengthened the goalkeeper position yet? time is running out Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
Biased/homer same thing. I don't think people are suggesting the ref had any interest in Swansea winning. Just he gave everything their way. Anyway, one persons irrational love of all things refereeing has turned us way off track. Poor results, can't see things changing.
But there is perhaps a difference in biased and cheat, maybe it is the strength of the word, and I'm not sure I've seen anyone directly say he cheated...
Question: if we didn't have a cup final who would be suggesting puel might be better seeking other employment?
Then stop getting annoyed. Some people want to moan about refs. It's not a big deal. All this just stops anyone talking about the actual football.
Do you understand how I feel then when people slag our manager off after a defeat, or for making a team selection based on reasons we actually no nothing about. Do you think people should just take a step back before slagging referees off and accusing them of things? Think about it Tom. You strop over people's comments on referees the same way I strop when people like you complain about the manager.
