Borini has played a lot of minutes since he came back and he's been ****e, he had to go off, maybe there's been an element to appease fans who are daft enough to think the likes Honeyman are ready to be chucked in. Be disappointed if that's the case though, he should stick to his guns. I wouldn't have brought Januzaj on though, he doesn't give a **** defencively and we needed the defence to hold strong. Maybe it's a tad to early for Gooch. Wasn't any good options on the bench really.

You suffocated us, I'm not surprised with the result.

Hope you stay up and send Lesta down ;)

    See you around.

What else can we do when we don't have anybody capable of building an attack? You need a few players to do that and we've got none. Our limitations dictate our style of play just like it has for so many years. We never replaced, Sess, we never replaced Gyan, we never replaced Steed or Zendon, we've never replaced all these players with anybody remotely capable to put attacking periods of football together.

Thinking about the game again Borini did track back but did not get many challenges in and broke on a few occasions and now I think Januzaij would be a better bet to make better use of the new(ish) possession we are getting in midfield.

He'd have to play central, utter liability otherwise

A free roaming role to link up with JD is what I see possible.

Window has closed, Januzaj or Khazri in the hole looks our only options for creating.

MOTD never tells a true story. It's made N'Dong look like our worst player and he was far from it. I thought my boy Jack had a good game again as well.

Certainly either or but we desperately need some more or better fire power up front.

Shame we're toothless going forward and likely to remain so. :(

Yeah he wanted it. He played some lovely forward passes and won some important headers.

That's all he's missing for me to be a valuable player, unlock the fire and passion and he'll be useful because technically he's pretty good.

It's going to be our undoing. We haven't even got anybody who can chip in with a few goals to help Defoe out. We haven't got anybody apart from Vic to hold the ball up and nobody in midfield who can break away and create. To one dimensional init.

I'm praying that Khazri will get a chance now. He's not brilliant but he's one of our best players in my opinion, ideally he'd have a role that didn't require too much defensive work as he's not at his best there. Dangerous in attack though.
