No excuses for us being ****. Pochettino has to take the blame, the game was crying out for Winks to get things ticking and he takes of Son and brings on Sissoko. ****ing hell, and then we have to wait until the 85th minute for Janssen. I love the guy but our manager was terrible tonight, set us up badly and failed to get anything more out of us.

Still Lee Mason's a fat head **** and should have at least given us a pen or a red. What the **** was the throw in about too? He was making it up as he went along.

    Moussa Dembele: 7/10

That is all. I didn't see anyone else out there this evening.

It was always going to be difficult for us, in that place. Sunderland made it more so (difficult) then expected.

  6. Sissoko really is dreadful. Why the hell did he come on for Son? That was the time to bring Janssen on if at all.
Dembele the only bright light of the entire abomination of a game.

    At least Defoe didn't score.

Just knew this would be the outcome this eve. We seem to get results when everyone else does, but when we need to gain ground, we can't take ever our chances.

Gonna have to watch a lot of ArsenalFan TV to cheer myself up. Depressing night otherwise.

  10. We probably gave him too much respect in our formation. Not accounting for Borini who was just awful, Sunderland virtually played a 5-4-1 and we never found any space in the final third.
Credit to them but really showed up our weaknesses again.

1-1 FT at Anfield. Didn't lose any ground, but failed to gain any.
    Quite the balls up, really.

Really concerning that over the course of 90 mins we couldn't come up with a different way of breaking them down. Instead, we had to resort to sideways passes across the box until we found the person with the most space who could have a shot. - which were all bloody terrible.

We managed to bring you down to our level. Lots of closing down and not letting you have the time on the ball. (and a few fouls for good measure)
    At least Arsenal lost <cheers>

We've done the analysis before. You're either freescoring or the goals dry up. 11/23 games scored 0 or 1.

Your boys did well. Good luck for the rest of the season. And if you could relegate Leicester, so much the better.

Son was being his greedy self again...started to annoy me

Everyone seems a fraction too late with the attempt at the killer pass or releasing the ball in general.

Davies needs to stop leaning back when he shoots, he may be Welsh but this is not Rugby.

Thought Wanyama was his solid self, needs extra finishing classes though.

    I feel irritated.

    Keep your peckers up .
A very poor performance , no fluidity, little creation and out muscled .
Son was wasteful , Ali was on holiday , Kane was up the junction . Substitutes lacked any impact but we are light
on the bench compared to others in the top 6 .
Sid says pack up your troubles in your old kit bag , I'm getting my banjo out after that , Blighty calls .

    Goodnight Vienna fellow Lillywhites ,
    A disappointed but still upbeat

Where was Eriksen's cool head this evening. He seemed rushed into every thing he did.

Alli and Kane completely marked out of the game and had no answer's, they looked tired.

Son could've, but didn't use his head.

It was a shame to loose Rose at what I believe was a critical point in the game.

Dembele looked like a man possessed and bossed for the majority of his time on the park. Looking fitter then of-late..

The rest of our lad put in a degree of effort, but I think Sunderland upped their game specially and where better defensively organised tonight.
Sunderland appeared to be desperate for the prem point.

Our chance of 3 points ended with Rodwell's assault on Dembele. You could visibly see the entire team (Dembele aside) look at it and just go "**** it. I'm not sticking around to be nobbled. I'll just stroll around, keep my head down and stay out of harm's way". It was pathetic how meek we looked.

Games like this make you appreciate Lamela so much more. He would've relished a nice cold, wet evening up in the north east.
