One time, when Medro came over from "Gods Country" Northern Ireland, to watch the famous Glasgow Rangers take on their unfashionable rivals Glasgow Celtic at Ibrox Stadium.

Medro came off the ferry and was heading up to the game, when he saw young deer lay stricken by the side of the road. Medro tended to the young fawn until it's mother appeared.

    Medro - King amongst men.

I was caught in the riots the other day, I'd had a kicking and was getting robbed.

Medro saw off the attackers and retrieved all of my belongings from them.

When I looked again, he wasn't there....

My girlfriend finally consented to some back-door shenanigans, only for me to find out that Rebel had put a load of sand in my Vaseline. Medro painstakingly and selflessly removed each grain with a pair of tweezers allowing me to do the burd up the poop-chute. Medro will always be up there with Mother Teresa for me. <ok>

I was going to kill myself, but Medro gave me one of his Catholic/Protestant Oldfirm Baiting articles, and it cheered me up no end.
I'm now a lifetime member of the Orange Lodge and Freemasons and regularly bait Catholics by playing the flute and wearing a bowler hat.

I think I have a bit of the naturist in me, I love being in the buff - especially when I'm gassed. :)

I remember the time Medro formed together a group of knights and they defended our isles against the Saxon invaders. Also when he cut short a game of bowls to see off the Spanish Armada. Then there was his famous victory at Trafalgar, the routing of Napoleon at Waterloo and his brave stand against the Zulus at Rorke's Drift. He went over the top numerous times at the Somme and his stirring speeches and dogged leadership galvanised the nation during World War 2.

Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you, a true British Hero, Medro Pendes.

Thank you for being a friend
Traveled down the road and back again
Your heart is true your a pal and a confidant.

And if you through a party
    Invited everyone you ever knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say thank you for being a friend.

When Medro came to the disciples walking on the water, Peter asked Medro to call him unto Himself (Matthew 14:27-31). Medro did, and Peter walked on the water. That is, until he took his eyes off of Medro and focused on the wind and the waves. At that moment, Peter began to sink. Medro caught him by the hand and asked, "O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" Peter became afraid because he lost his confidence in Medro. Brother and sister we can "walk on the water" so long as we remain confident that we can do all things through Medro (Philippians 4:13).
