If Faugheen doesn't make it surely Mullins/Wylie will be seriously considering sending Yorkhill to the Champion Hurdle.
Mais oui Like the form from Leopardstown today, spring ground and some fast times, should stack up I reckon (better than Cheltenham yesterday)
I see Wicklow Brave is still entered in the Champion Hurdle too. Is there any plans for this one to return to NH scene? 33/1 currently in what's beginning to look like an open race.
Wicklow Brave entered in the Champion and Stayers Hurdle Chan, bit of a snippet from Sporting Life here: http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/...8493/cheltenham-possibility-for-wicklow-brave Sounds a bit "hit and miss" IMHO
Not ruled out then. But then Closutton and their owners never rule anything out do they. I suspect it won't happen as he's not entered in any races coming up and I can't see them going there without a prep. He's 25s for the Stayers and that's even less likely in my book. 33/1 for the Champion Hurdle NRNB is not bad for the 2016 Irish St Leger winner. Good to soft ground almost guaranteed on the first day which would be perfect too.
You can get 33/1 on Sceau Royal, with G/S guaranteed he is a nice speed horse who can quicken off a fast pace
Skybet have enhanced Melon,Defi De Seuil,Thislecrack & UNWIMH all to be place 16s from 12s NRNB.I'll have a slice of that!
It appears very fair in my view but you have to suspect they fancy a NR or one to get fully turned over.
Well Cilaos Emery is sure to be Willie's winner of the supreme so look no further than race 1 and she's down. Ah, they only need to place. That's interesting.
It's NRNB Toppy-Of course it's Cheltenham and one will most likely get turned over but I'm happy enough to take a wee punt on it.I think UKWIMH and TC on good ground will definitely place. The other two are the ones I wouldn't call Nap material but must have a decent enough chance of placing.
I wonder whether JP is planning sending Ivanovic Gorbatov for the county hurdle? Mark getting to an attractive level and better ground should see the horse in a much better light.... just smells a bit fishy how poor the horse has been
100% he goes to a handicap IMO. Given what JP has in the big races it is no surprise to see him engineering a mark, disgraceful though that is. Should get his ground at the festival as well. The JLT looks like it has less depth now chaps- Yorkhill still looking likely for that?
3/1 NRNB for AIRLIE BEACH in the Mares Novice looks very attractive, so attractive I have taken some of it Let's Dance looks to be going to the Neptune ofrAB as RICCI has come out and said 2m is too short for her! Taking her out there is nothing that can beat her. Second year the race looks very weak indeed! Not a great addition to the festival. Imo but second year in a row it is easy pickings for punters but will surely go off very skinny odds on the day
surely that means you can safely assume Lets Dance wont be running in the Neptune or AB, ill be astounded if she runs in the AB
