I get it wrong every time. Either way, he's ****ing awful. I'm trying to work out if he's worse than Guzan or not.
and you've come to this conclusion........................................ how many full games have you seen him play with a new defense in front of him?
I appreciate your point but in my opinion it shouldn't matter how many games he's played with our defence, basic goalkeeping abilities need to be there, ie coming off your line to claim the cross from a corner when it's inside your six yard box.
My son's a goalkeeper and if he flapped at crosses like Gulasci did against Blackpool I wouldn't 't be overly chuffed. If he dropped the ball like Van Der Sar did against West Brom ( which lead to a tap in ) last season I would be even less impressed. That was pure school boy. My point is even truly great keepers drop clangers and make mistakes. Let's give the bloke a chance before we start saying he's useless. He is seen as a realistic long term replacement for Reine at Liverpool so they obviously rate him yet after one game for us he's written off by some . I appreciate it wasn't the most confident of starts but to call him useless after one game just shows ignorance.
If you will, Péter Gulácsi is pronounced PAY-ter GUL-achi (or GUL-achi PAY-ter in Hungary). I'm sure he's probably given up caring anyhow.
Better keepers than Gulacsi have flapped at crosses. Give the lad a chance. What were you expecting for his age ? He looks a very good shot stopper which is more than half the battle.
Not at all. Looks a good shot stopper and the rest but he was hesitant and flapped at a couple. I liked Vito he had that arrogance about him, pity if he only ends up being back up for the Arse.
